Regeneration is a boon that grants healing over time. It stacks in duration, though only up to 5 times, and it is not currently known exactly how different stack values are overwritten. If a character has received regeneration stacks from several allies, the boon with the highest healing contribution is used before other lower healing power applications. Only the healing power attribute affects this boon prioritization; healing modifiers do not. Regeneration is affected by healing power and the caster's effective level, following this formula:

Traits that grant regeneration
Inspired Virtue (Virtues) — Virtues apply boons to allies when activated. Deal increased strike damage for each boon on you.
Legendary Lore (Firebrand) — Tome skills gain bonuses from scribbling in the margins by ancient bards.
Phoenix Protocol (Willbender) — Gain boons when resolve's effect triggers, but you no longer heal. Resolve has a modified duration. Gain boons when you use Flowing Resolve.
Serene Rejuvenation (Salvation) — Increase healing to other allies. Legendary Centaur skills apply boons in an area.
Spirit Boon (Invocation) — Invoking a legend grants boons to nearby allies based on the legend that was invoked.
Elder's Respite (Herald) — Regeneration heals for more. Gain regeneration when struck while below the health threshold.
Wrought-Iron Will (Renegade) — Evading an attack inspires you with Kalla's Fervor and grants boons to nearby allies.
Amnesty of Shing Jea (Vindicator) — Legendary Alliance abilities gain an additional bonus. Activating Energy Meld or Alliance Tactics grants both of these bonuses simultaneously at greater amounts to nearby allies. Kurzick abilities grant regeneration. Luxon abilities grant might.
Balance in Discord (Vindicator) — Gain health and boons when swapping legends or by using Alliance Tactics while attuned to the Legendary Alliance.
Dogged March (Defense) — Reduce the duration of movement-impeding conditions and gain regeneration when you are affected by one of these conditions.

Renewing Gaze (Deadeye) — Deadeye's Mark recharges if your mark is defeated. Gain regeneration when this recharge occurs.
Elemental Attunement (Arcane) — Grant a boon to nearby allies when changing attunements. Note: This effect will not trigger when attuning to the same element.
Elemental Lockdown (Arcane ) — When you disable a foe, gain a boon based upon your current attunement.

Woven Stride (Weaver) — Gain swiftness when you are inflicted with inhibiting conditions. When gaining either superspeed or swiftness, also gain regeneration and cleanse a condition. Swiftness has increased effectiveness.
Auspicious Anguish (Chaos) — Convert damaging conditions to boons whenever you gain Distortion or become disabled. This trait can only trigger when disabled once per interval. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
Chaotic Transference (Chaos) — Gaining chaos aura grants boons to nearby allies.
Metaphysical Rejuvenation (Chaos) — Grant regeneration to nearby allies when you use a healing skill.

Notes[edit]
- Certain effects of skills (like Healing Signet and Virtue of Resolve), traits (like Soothing Mist and Adrenal Health) provide healing over time referred to as "regeneration" in the descriptions. However, their effects are separate from the regeneration boon (they do not use the same formula or effect icon, and are not boons and thus cannot be removed by enemies or impaired by negative effects like Dwayna's Lament, nor can they trigger traits or food that depend on the presence of a boon). However, their healing stacks in addition to the regeneration boon and any other similar regeneration effects.
- The cat golem Professor Mew in the Uncategorized Fractal creates the same effect for its allies, the only exception is that is called "Feline Regeneration" instead.
- Regeneration modifiers like Elder's Respite or Relic of Dwayna stack additively, while multiplying with outgoing healing modifiers.[1]
