Mantra is a type of skill shared by the Mesmer tango icon 20px.pngMesmer and Firebrand tango icon 20px.pngFirebrand classes. Mesmer mantras have two charges, while Firebrand mantras three charges.

  • A mantra is a phrase repeated to assist concentration during meditation, originally in Hinduism.
  • Prior to the May 11, 2021 game update, players prepared a mantra they wanted to use (a 20.75¾ cast time for Firebrand and 20.25¼ cast time for Mesmer) which primed its activatable charges. Expending all of a mantra's charges deactivated the mantra and placed the skill on cooldown. While primed, a mantra regenerated charges at a set rate. Mesmer mantras had two potent charges, while Firebrand mantras had up to three charges with an empowered final charge. Players could choose between expending their final charge or holding it to regenerate charges. Multiple mantra skills could be prepared at the same time. Players may prepare mantras out of combat, and preparation does not expire.
