“Deals damage every second; decreases healing effectiveness by 33%; damage stacks intensity.

Poisoned is a condition that inflicts damage over time and stacks intensity, however the heal potency decrease is unaffected by the number of stacks on a foe, which can stack up to 1500 times. Characters suffering from poison appear green tinted. Damage is determined by the following formula:
(0.06 * Condition Damage) + (0.375 * Level) + 3.5
damage per stack per second,(0.06 * Condition Damage) + 33.5
damage per stack per second at level 80.

Diabolic Inferno (Corruption) — Invoke Torment applies poison and burning.
Poison Master (Wilderness Survival) — Upon using a Beast ability, your pet's next attack will inflict poison; your poison damage is increased.
Eclipse (Druid) — Your Celestial Avatar skills are offensively augmented. Striking enemies grants additional astral force.
Debilitating Blows (Untamed) — Disabling a foe applies conditions to that foe based on your current state. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
Deadly Ambition (Deadly Arts) — Inflict poison when striking a foe with a dual wield attack. Gain increased condition damage. Applies poison once per attack use.
Panic Strike (Deadly Arts) — Immobilizing a foe poisons them. Striking a foe below the health threshold immobilizes them.
Serpent's Touch (Deadly Arts) — Stealing inflicts poison. While in the downed state, your attacks apply poison.
Master of Corruption (Curses) — Corruptions gain reduced recharge time and inflict additional conditions on you.
Septic Corruption (Harbinger) — Deal increased condition damage for each stack of blight you have. Shroud 2 skill also inflicts poison.

Drop Gunk (Streamlined Kits) — Drop gunk at your location to inflict a random condition.
Lesser Chaos Storm (Method of Madness) — Create a magical storm at the target location that applies random conditions to foes and boons to allies. The first strike of the storm dazes foes.
Poison Nova (Death Nova) — Corruption. The target area is enveloped in a noxious cloud of poison.

Yearning Empowerment (Corruption) — Damaging conditions you apply last longer.
Poison Master (Wilderness Survival) — Upon using a Beast ability, your pet's next attack will inflict poison; your poison damage is increased.
Predator's Cunning (Soulbeast) — When you apply poison to a foe, steal some health from them.
Lotus Poison (Deadly Arts) — Weaken targets when you poison them.
Potent Poison (Deadly Arts) — Poison you inflict has increased damage and duration. Other Deadly Arts traits apply additional stacks of poison.
Jagged Mind (Virtuoso) — Blade attacks inflict bleeding on critical hits. A percentage of your condition damage dealt heals you.
Parasitic Contagion (Curses) — A percentage of your condition damage heals you. Healing will not occur while life force replaces health.
Putrid Defense (Death Magic) — Poison damage is increased. Applying poison grants carapace.

Shadow's Embrace (Shadow Arts) — Remove conditions when you enter or exit stealth. This effect also applies to stealth you grant to allies.

Oakheart Salve (Wilderness Survival) — Gain regeneration when you are inflicted with bleeding, poison, or burning. While you have regeneration, you take reduced strike damage.

Relics that apply poison[edit]
- Relic of the Afflicted — Create a Death Nova at a foe's location upon their defeat that inflicts poison and bleeding.
- Relic of the Blightbringer — Gain stacks of Greer's Virulence when you inflict poison on a foe. After reaching the maximum number of stacks, the next time you inflict poison also inflicts additional conditions on nearby enemies.
- Relic of the Demon Queen — Poison that you apply reduces healing by an additional amount. Disabling a foe applies poison. Disables include stun, taunt, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, fear, and launch.
- Relic of the Krait — After using an elite skill, emit a wave of corruption that inflicts damaging conditions.
- Relic of the Nightmare — After using an elite skill, send forth a nightmare pulse that inflicts fear and poison on nearby enemies.
- Relic of the Sunless — Using an elite skill summons a pool on the target enemy that inflicts poison and cripple. Pool duration scales with the recharge of the elite skill.
- Relic of Vass — After using a healing or elixir skill, your next few attacks inflict poison. Healing skills can only trigger this effect once every interval.

- Prior to the G-Star Demo, this condition stacked in intensity but not duration.
- At the G-Star Demo, multiple applications of this condition increased its duration instead.[1]
- This condition was changed to stack in intensity since the June 23, 2015 game update.
- In the Chinese release of Guild Wars 2, Poisoned uses the
icon.
