This is a list of thief traits.

Deadly Arts.png Deadly Arts[edit]

Tier Trait Tango-recharge-darker.png Description
Minor Adept Serpent's Touch.png Serpent's Touch Stealing inflicts poison. While in the downed state, your attacks apply poison.
Major Adept Dagger Training.png Dagger Training Gain bonus power, which is increased when wielding a dagger.
Major Adept Mug.png Mug Deal damage and gain life when stealing. This attack cannot critically hit enemies.
Major Adept Deadly Ambition.png Deadly Ambition 2 Inflict poison when striking a foe. Gain increased condition damage.
Minor Master Lotus Poison.png Lotus Poison 10 Weaken targets when you poison them.
Major Master Even the Odds.png Even the Odds Apply vulnerability when you steal. Gain might when you hit with a stealth attack.
Major Master Panic Strike.png Panic Strike 20 Immobilizing a foe poisons them. Striking a foe that is below the health threshold immobilizes them.
Major Master Revealed Training.png Revealed Training Gain power, then gain extra power while you are revealed.
Minor Grandmaster Exposed Weakness.png Exposed Weakness Deal more damage to your target for each unique condition on them.
Major Grandmaster Potent Poison.png Potent Poison Increased poison duration. Poison deals increased damage. Other Deadly Arts traits apply additional poison stacks.
Major Grandmaster Improvisation.png Improvisation 20 You can use stolen skills twice. One random skill category is immediately recharged when you steal.
Major Grandmaster Executioner.png Executioner Deal extra damage when your target is below the health threshold.

Major Adept Assassin's Fury.png Assassin's Fury 2 Gain might when you gain fury.
Major Adept Signets of Power.png Signets of Power Signets gain reduced recharge time and an additional passive effect.
Major Adept Twin Fangs.png Twin Fangs Deal increased critical damage while your health is above the threshold. Gain bonus critical-hit chance when hitting a foe from behind or the side.
Minor Master Unrelenting Strikes.png Unrelenting Strikes 10 Gain fury when you strike an enemy whose health is below the threshold.
Major Master Sundering Strikes.png Sundering Shade 1 Stealth Attack abilities inflict vulnerability and grant fury upon successfully hitting foes..
Major Master Practiced Tolerance.png Practiced Tolerance Gain ferocity based on your precision.
Major Master Ankle Shots.png Ankle Shots 8 Critical hits with pistols and harpoon guns cripple foes. Deal bonus damage to crippled foes; damage is increased when wielding a pistol or harpoon gun.
Minor Grandmaster Ferocious Strikes.png Ferocious Strikes Gain increased critical damage against foes whose health is above the threshold.
Major Grandmaster No Quarter.png No Quarter 2 Landing a critical hit while under the effects of fury increases the duration of fury. Gain increased ferocity while under the effects of fury.
Major Grandmaster Hidden Killer.png Hidden Killer Gain bonus critical-hit chance while stealthed. This bonus lingers for a short duration after you've been revealed.
Major Grandmaster Invigorating Precision.png Invigorating Precision You are healed for a percentage of outgoing critical hit damage. This healing is increased while you are under the effects of fury.

Shadow Arts.png Shadow Arts[edit]

Minor Adept Concealing Restoration.png Concealing Restoration Gain stealth when you use a healing skill.
Major Adept Merciful Ambush.png Merciful Ambush 10 When you apply stealth to an ally, they heal and revive over a short duration. Stealth yourself and your target when reviving an ally.
Major Adept Shadow's Embrace.png Shadow's Embrace Remove conditions periodically while in stealth.
Major Adept Hidden Thief.png Hidden Thief Stealing grants you stealth. Deception skills gain reduced recharge.
Minor Master Meld with Shadows.png Meld with Shadows Stealth lasts longer when it's granted by your skills. Gain increased movement speed while stealthed.
Major Master Shadow Savior.png Shadow Savior After completing a shadowstep, you are healed. Nearby allies are also healed for a larger amount. Only affects thief shadowsteps.
Major Master Leeching Venoms.png Leeching Venoms Venom skills siphon life from struck foes. Gain stacks of Spider Venom while stealthed. Siphoning can only occur once per strike.
Major Master Flickering Shadows.png Flickering Shadows Take less damage while revealed.
Minor Grandmaster Shadow Siphoning.png Shadow Siphoning 1 Stealth attacks siphon health if they hit. Cannot siphon the same target more than once per interval.
Major Grandmaster Cloaked in Shadow.png Cloaked in Shadow Gaining stealth blinds nearby foes. Blinding foes siphons health from them.
Major Grandmaster Shadow's Rejuvenation.png Shadow's Rejuvenation Regenerate health and initiative while in stealth.
Major Grandmaster Rending Shade.png Rending Shade Steal boons from enemies you strike with stealth attacks. Striking a boonless foe with a stealth attack inflicts fear on nearby foes.

Major Adept Instant Reflexes.png Instant Reflexes 40 Evade attacks when you are struck below the health threshold.
Major Adept Vigorous Recovery.png Vigorous Recovery Gain vigor when using a healing skill.
Major Adept Pain Response.png Pain Response 16 Gain regeneration and remove conditions when struck while your health is below the threshold.
Minor Master Feline Grace.png Feline Grace 1 Gain vigor upon successfully evading an attack.
Major Master Guarded Initiation.png Guarded Initiation 1 Remove conditions when striking an enemy while your health is above the threshold.
Major Master Swindler's Equilibrium.png Swindler's Equilibrium 10 Successfully evading an attack while wielding a sword or spear recharges Steal. Swords and spears deal increased damage.
Major Master Hard to Catch.png Hard to Catch 30 Break stun and refill endurance when you are stunned, dazed, knocked back, pulled, knocked down, sink

Major Grandmaster Assassin's Reward.png Assassin's Reward Heal yourself whenever you use a skill that uses initiative. Heal yourself for each point of initiative spent.
Major Grandmaster Upper Hand.png Upper Hand 2 Gain initiative and regeneration when you evade an attack.
Major Grandmaster Don't Stop.png Don't Stop While you have swiftness, movement-impairing conditions have reduced duration. When you gain swiftness, lose a movement-impairing condition.

Trickery.png Trickery[edit]

Minor Adept Kleptomaniac.png Kleptomaniac Stealing gives you initiative.
Major Adept Uncatchable.png Uncatchable Leave behind Lesser Caltrops when you dodge or take falling damage. Drop additional caltrops when taking falling damage. You take less falling damage.
Major Adept Burst of Agility.png Burst of Agility Use Lesser Haste when attacking a foe from behind or from the side.
Major Adept Thrill of the Crime.png Thrill of the Crime When you Steal, you and all nearby allies gain fury, might, and swiftness for 10 seconds.
Minor Master Preparedness.png Preparedness Increases maximum initiative by 3.
Major Master Bountiful Theft.png Bountiful Theft Stealing grants you and all nearby allies vigor. You rip boons from your target and grant them to nearby allies.
Major Master Trickster.png Trickster Tricks gain reduced recharge and remove conditions.
Major Master Pressure Striking.png Pressure Striking Enemies you interrupt are inflicted with torment.
This trait can only affect enemies with defiance bars once per interval.
Minor Grandmaster Lead Attacks.png Lead Attacks Increases damage and condition damage per initiative spent. Steal gains reduced recharge time.
Major Grandmaster Quick Pockets.png Quick Pockets 8 Gain initiative on swapping weapons while in combat.
Major Grandmaster Sleight of Hand.png Sleight of Hand Stealing also dazes the target. Reduces the recharge of Steal.
Major Grandmaster Bewildering Ambush.png Bewildering Ambush Stealing also applies confusion.

Daredevil.png Daredevil[edit]

Minor Proficiency Staff Proficiency.png Staff Proficiency You can wield a staff.
Minor Adept Physical Supremacy.png Physical Supremacy Gain access to physical skills. Your maximum endurance threshold is increased, while Steal is replaced with Swipe.
Major Adept Escapist's Fortitude.png Escapist's Fortitude 1 Gain health when you successfully evade an attack. Remove a condition whenever you evade an attack.
Major Adept Marauder's Resilience.png Marauder's Resilience Gain vitality based on a portion of your power. Damage is decreased from foes within the range threshold.
Major Adept Brawler's Tenacity.png Brawler's Tenacity Physical skills grant endurance when activated and gain reduced recharge.
Minor Master Weakening Strikes.png Weakening Strikes Your next attack after dodging causes weakness to foes struck. Weakened enemies deal less damage to you, and you deal more damage to them.
Major Master Staff Master.png Staff Master While wielding a staff, gain endurance for each initiative point spent. Gain bonus power, which is increased when wielding a staff.
Major Master Havoc Specialist.png Havoc Specialist Damage is increased based on endurance that is missing.
Major Master Impacting Disruption.png Impacting Disruption Enemies that you interrupt suffer a pulmonary impact.
This trait can only affect enemies with defiance bars once per interval.
Minor Grandmaster Endurance Thief.png Endurance Thief Gain endurance when you successfully steal from an enemy.
Major Grandmaster Lotus Training.png Lotus Training Your dodge ability now uses Impaling Lotus, firing daggers at nearby enemies. Gain increased condition damage for a period of time after dodging.
Major Grandmaster Unhindered Combatant.png Unhindered Combatant Your dodge ability is replaced by a long-range dash that removes inhibiting conditions and grants swiftness and damage reduction. Removing conditions in this way temporarily reduces endurance gain.
Major Grandmaster Bounding Dodger.png Bounding Dodger Your dodge ability is replaced by Bound, dealing damage to the area after you evade. Physical damage is increased for a period of time after you dodge.

Deadeye.png Deadeye[edit]

Minor Proficiency Rifle Proficiency (deadeye).png Rifle Proficiency You can wield rifles.
Minor Adept Deadeye's Gaze.png Deadeye's Gaze Steal is replaced with Deadeye's Mark, which unlocks new Stolen skills and malice generation. Stealth attacks consume malice for bonus effects. Gain access to rifles and cantrips.
Major Adept Malicious Intent.png Malicious Intent Marking a target or striking your mark with a stealth attack will immediately grant malice.
Major Adept Collateral Damage.png Collateral Damage Trigger Burst of Shadows at your target's location if it dies while marked.
Major Adept One in the Chamber.png One in the Chamber When you cast a cantrip, gain a random new stolen skill.
(Requires a marked target. Overwrites existing stolen skills.)
Minor Master Renewing Gaze.png Renewing Gaze Deadeye's Mark recharges if your mark is defeated. Gain regeneration when this recharge occurs.
Major Master Silent Scope.png Silent Scope Gain precision. Gain additional precision while wielding a rifle. Enter stealth when you dodge roll with a rifle equipped.
Major Master Payback.png Payback When Renewing Gaze triggers, this trait restores a portion of the recharge time needed by your healing, utility, and elite skills.
Excludes racial skills.
Major Master Premeditation.png Premeditation Deal more damage for each unique boon you have; concentration is increased.
Minor Grandmaster Iron Sight.png Iron Sight Damage dealt to your marked target is increased and damage taken from your marked target is reduced.
Major Grandmaster Maleficent Seven.png Maleficent Seven Increase the maximum malice stack count. Restore initiative and gain boons upon reaching the maximum number of malice stacks.
Major Grandmaster Be Quick or Be Killed.png Be Quick or Be Killed Gain quickness when marking a foe. Your power and precision are increased while under this effect.
Major Grandmaster Fire for Effect.png Fire for Effect 0.5½ Hitting your marked target with a stolen skill grants boons to allies around your mark and to allies around you.
Cannot grant boons to the same ally more than once per activation.
