  • (PvE only) Condition damage attribute bonus increased from 120 to 180.

  • This trait now applies 1 stack of poison for 3 seconds when striking with a dual-wield attack. This effect has no cooldown but can only occur once per dual-wield attack use. This trait is no longer split between game modes.

  • Fixed a bug that caused this trait to apply more poison than expected.

  • The internal cooldown of this trait has been increased from 5 seconds to 10 seconds in PvP only. The stacks of poison have been decreased from 2 stacks to 1 stack in PvP only.

  • Fixed a bug that caused this trait to not apply extra poison stacks with the Potent Poison trait equipped.

  • Trapper's Respite has been reworked and renamed into Deadly Ambition.
  • Inflict 2 stacks of poison for 3 seconds when striking a foe, with an internal cooldown of 3 seconds in PvE [sic], 5 seconds in PvP. Gain +120 condition damage when this trait is equipped.
August 08, 2017 Path of Fire pre-patch:
  • Renamed this trait to include an apostrophe in the title. Renamed the skill triggered by this trait to Lesser Needle Trap. Increased Poison duration to 10 seconds.

  • Fixed a bug that caused this skill to display an incorrect poison duration.

  • All traps created by the thief will have a 1-second arm time before the trap can affect enemies.
  • Needle Trap: This skill now delivers a strike.
