Advanced Canthan technology has created a...unique weapon, fusing a firearm and a martial longblade to brutal effect. Exclusive to warriors, the gunsaber uses cartridges infused with magical, enriched amber from the heart of the mines in Echovald Forest, delivering energy to both the blade and the wielder while giving them unprecedented power.
— Elite specialization lore
- Bladesworn loses traditional weapon swapping in combat, as the gunblade is the second weapon for this specialization.
- Adrenaline is renamed as "flow", and constantly generates while in combat. Skills that grant adrenaline will either boost flow regeneration or give a flat flow boost.
- With the gunblade equipped, it can be charged with flow into blasting attacks up to 10 points.
