A spirit is a skill type that summons an ethereal being that provide effects depending on the type of spirit summoned. They can be targeted and can be "killed" or otherwise removed from battle, and they will disappear if the character who summoned them moves too far away or moves between land and underwater. Players can only activate one spirit of each type.

Water Spirit.png Water Spirit 1 20 Spirit. Summon a water spirit that causes nearby allies to heal when attacking.
Spirits lose health when granting boons to allies and die if the summoner moves out of range.
ChainAqua Surge.png Aqua Surge 0.25¼ 20 The water spirit teleports to your location and then heals you and nearby allies.
Frost Spirit.png Frost Spirit 1 20 Spirit. Summon a frost spirit that increases damage for nearby allies.
Spirits lose health when granting boons to allies and die if the summoner moves out of range.
ChainCold Snap.png Cold Snap 0.25¼ 20 Your frost spirit teleports to your location and releases a freezing blast of arctic air to chill nearby foes.
Stone Spirit.png Stone Spirit 1 20 Spirit. Summon a stone spirit that causes nearby allies to gain protection on hit.
Spirits lose health when granting boons to allies and die if the summoner moves out of range.
ChainQuicksand.png Quicksand 0.25¼ 20 Your stone spirit teleports to your location and softens the earth around it, immobilizing and crippling foes.
Storm Spirit.png Storm Spirit 1 20 Spirit. Summon a storm spirit that causes nearby allies to apply vulnerability when attacking.
Spirits lose health when granting boons to allies and die if the summoner moves out of range.
ChainCall Lightning (Ranger).png Call Lightning 0.25¼ 20 Your storm spirit teleports to your location and generates a powerful blast of electricity.
Sun Spirit.png Sun Spirit 1 20 Spirit. Summon a sun spirit that causes allies to inflict burning when hitting foes.
Spirits lose health when enhancing allies and will die if the summoner moves out of range.
ChainSolar Flare.png Solar Flare 0.25¼ 20 Your sun spirit teleports to your location and releases the brilliance of the sun on nearby foes.
Spirit of Nature.png Spirit of Nature 10.5½ 120 Spirit. Summon a spirit that heals allies. Command the spirit to revive and cure conditions on nearby allies.
Spirits lose health when their passive activates and die if the summoner moves out of range.
ChainNature's Renewal.png Nature's Renewal 0.25¼ 40 Your spirit of nature teleports to your location and then sacrifices its health to revive and cure the conditions of nearby downed allies.
Health is only sacrificed if an ally is revived.

  • On land, spirits resemble the oakheart. Underwater, each utility skill spirit takes the form of a dolphin, while the Spirit of Nature takes the form of a Humpback Whale.
  • Spirit health at level 80 is 7,415.
  • The spirit's level will match the effective level of the ranger instead of the area they are summoned to.
