A blast finisher is a skill that can create a combo effect by interacting with a combo field. All blast combos create area effects with a range of 360.

Traits that cause blast finishers
Blast Zone (Alchemy) — Create a blast finisher at your location when you use a healing skill's associated tool belt skill.
Photonic Blasting Module (Holosmith) — Overheat now blasts damage to nearby foes and no longer deals its initial damage to you. The tool belt recharge penalty for Overheat is reduced. Heat can only be lost after overheating. Damage over time from Overheat is still applied.
Trait skills that cause blast finishers
Orbital Command Strike (Aim-Assisted Rocket) — Call down energy from the sky to blast an area.
Lesser Call of the Wild (Clarion Bond) — Weaken nearby enemies. Grant fury, might, and swiftness to yourself and nearby allies.
Shock Wave (Evasive Arcana, when attuned to earth) — Create a shock wave that bleeds and cripples nearby foes.
Traits that improve Blast finisher
Chain Reactivity (Alchemy) — Gain barrier when you successfully finish a combo field with a leap or a blast. Every third successful finish grants you might and a larger barrier that is shared with allies.
Kinetic Accelerators (Scrapper) — Grant boons to nearby allies when you successfully combo a field with a blast, leap, or whirl finisher. Your function gyro is now a blast finisher. Whirl finishers can only trigger this trait once per interval.
Related equipment[edit]
- Relic of Bloodstone — Gain Bloodstone Volatility when you successfully combo a field with a blast finisher. Blasting at the stack threshold triggers an explosion, granting increased damage.
- Relic of Karakosa — Heal other nearby allies when you successfully combo a field with a blast finisher.
- Relic of the Mists Tide — Cleanse a condition from yourself when you successfully combo a field with a leap or blast finisher.
- Relic of the Steamshrieker — Burn nearby enemies when you successfully combo a water field with a blast or leap finisher.
Notes[edit]
- Many skills with an activation time will notify that there is a combo at any point during the activation time if a field is available, but no effect is granted until the skill finishes activating.
- Some Blast Finisher skills have different points where they interact with a Combo Field vs activate their Combo effect, eg. Comet.
