About Me

Hi, I'm Lunatic! Some would say I'm a crazy person.

I started playing the original Guild Wars in July 2005 where I quickly fell in love with the game. Naturally when Guild Wars 2 was announced I made sure to be part of the BETA and pre-ordered the game! Due to my previous experience with Guild Wars, I was actually very disappointed by the weapon/skills system of Guild Wars 2. I quit during Living Story Season 1 and starting playing World of Warcraft. Strangely, that gave me a new insight on the skills system and I came back to the game. I have played on and off since release and always keep coming back. I now have a family and many responsibilities that make it hard for me to play consistently, so I most often find myself casually grinding out achievements and collections. I love that the same armor I made years ago is still valid! Feel free to reach out to me in game or on discord if you need help with something particular and I will try if I can!

Characters

It all started with Crystal, my Elementalist, in Guild Wars. I almost didn't make her, but the male character models felt clunky and unfinished. The surname of Lunatic just seemed fitting for someone wielding magic of no less than 4 different elements. After that the other characters followed, joining the crazy family.

Thanks to the Hall of Monuments I was able to preserve my character names when Guild Wars 2 came about. Not all names are an exact match due to different classes being released, but I am still happy to carry on the legacy of each name.
