Profession mechanic

Tool belt skills are the engineer's profession mechanic, occupying the F1 – F4 slots above the skill bar. Each of the engineer's healing and utility skills has an associated tool belt skill — equipping a skill in slots 6 – 9 will automatically place the associated skill in the corresponding tool belt slot. These skills are listed in the healing and utility tables below underneath their associated primary skill.

Weapon skills

Two-handed

2	Net Shot			10	Immobilize foes with a net shot.
3	Blunderbuss		0.5½	10	Fire a cloud of shrapnel that causes more damage the closer you are to foes.
4	Overcharged Shot			15	Fire a blast so strong it launches your foe as you fall backward and cures immobilized, crippled, and chilled.
5	Jump Shot		0.25¼	20	Blast the ground, damaging nearby foes and leaping to your target.

4	Blowtorch		0.5½	15	Unleash flames from your pistol to burn foes. Deal more damage the closer you are.
5	Glue Shot		0.5½	30	Coat the target area with a glue puddle that immobilizes foes on impact, then cripples foes that remain within.

5	Static Shield		10.5½	40	Electrify your shield, preparing to throw it at foes. If you are hit, the shield discharges, stunning your nearby attacker.
	Throw Shield		0.75¾		Throw your charged shield. Dazes foes it hits on the way out and back.

Flamethrower
