Wintersday 2013 or A Very Merry Wintersday was a release launching on December 10, 2013. It brings the celebration of Wintersday back to Tyria with many festivities.

Toymaker Tixx visited Lion's Arch once again and gave access to his variety of activities. Ho-Ho-Tron and the bard Marcello DiGiacomo could be found in the city raising funds for repairs to Divinity's Reach which was attacked prior by Scarlet Briar.

Wintersday festivities

• The Wondrous Workshop: Tixx' workshop from last year makes a return with the Infinirarium.
• Winter Wonderland: A multi-path jumping puzzle.
• Bell Choir: A rhythm game activity.
• Toypocalypse: A tower defense inspired activity.
• Snowball Mayhem: A PvP activity.

New features and content

• Armorsmith, Leatherworker, and Tailor crafting disciplines will be able to progress until level 500 to craft Ascended armor.
• New healing skills: Every profession gets a new healing skill.
• Balance update: The release will include a skill and trait balance update, focusing on improving traits and trait lines.

• Lingering Poison: The fight against the Toxic Alliance at the Tower of Nightmares in Kessex Hills and surrounding zones is still ongoing.
