Defeat the toxic spider queen is a level 20 group event that occurs at Earthlord's Gap and Viathan's Arm in Kessex Hills.

These are the expected rewards for a level 20 player. Higher level players receive dynamically adjusted rewards.

Walkthrough

Due to the Toxic Spider Queen being quite powerful, players should be careful when attempting to engage it alone. Lightly-armored characters can easily be killed by the exploding Toxic Stalks summoned by this boss. It also has the ability to trap players in destructible cocoons. As it is practically impossible to escape these cocoons without high power, it is advised that other players attempt to free trapped players as the Spider Queen will use the Devour skill on them, likely downing them and healing the boss. Condition removal skills are also helpful as the boss inflicts  Poisoned.

Notes

• The event occurs roughly every six to ten minutes. This is an average, often it will take up to 30 minutes between spawns.
• This event can occur near  Viathan Waypoint — or  Gap Waypoint — .
• One cannot see the other event indicator from the opposite waypoint (or even halfway between). However, when she spawns, the closest waypoint becomes contested. In this way one can tell if she is up and where.
