(Filler text.) Gendarran Fields is a broad expanse to the north of Lion's Arch. The fields proper sprawl northwards, bordered by a mountainous east and the more barren crags to the west. Krytan history has long seen these lands as a human crossroads, as both home and refuge, and in both wealth and war. These days, life continues past the rise of Orr. In the fertile south, townsfolk and farmers strive to earn a living, tending their crops and selling their wares while nearby Ascalon Settlement deepens its roots. Elsewhere, the newly moneyed raise homes on the shores of Lake Bounty in contrast to the stoic foothold established by members of the Vigil in the north. Time has brought many changes, with Lion's Arch revived and newly independent, but threats old and new still remain. Harathi and Tamini centaurs raid the northwest, while the undead are ever-present in the southern swamps. Of particular concern to the struggling peace is the pirate plague upon the lakes--a reminder that even in such times, friend is never far away from foe. (Filler text.)
