The staff is a two-handed weapon and can be crafted by an artificer. Staves typically have a mix of supportive and controlling skills in their sets, and often affect many foes or allies. The maximum damage range for staves is 1,034 - 1,166. Ranged staff skills typically have a range of 1200, making it a long-ranged weapon. Revenant and Daredevil use staff in close combat. With the Elite Specialization Druid and Daredevil, Staff is the most used weapon with only the Warrior and Engineer being unable to use it.

- Honorable Staff — Boon duration is increased while wielding a staff. Staff recharges are reduced.
- Tranquil Benediction — The healing orbs that you create while wielding a staff will now grant swiftness and regeneration when picked up by allies.
- Celestial Being — Gain access to glyphs. You can become a celestial avatar once you gain enough astral force. Generate astral force by healing allies and damaging foes.
- Primal Echoes — Reduces recharge of staff skills. Daze nearby foes when you swap to staff.
- Physical Supremacy — Gain access to the physical skill category. Your maximum endurance threshold is increased.
- Staff Master — While wielding a staff, gain endurance for each initiative point spent. Deal bonus damage when your endurance is not full while wielding a staff.
- Chaotic Dampening — Chaos armor grants protection. Staff and trident skills recharge faster while you have chaos armor.
- Soul Marks — Marks generate life force when triggered. Marks are unblockable. (Four out of five Necromancer staff skills are marks)
