Artificer

Artificer is a crafting discipline that focuses on magical weapons such as focuses, scepters, staffs, and tridents. An artificer can craft items useful to guardians, elementalists, mesmers, and necromancers. Artificers can also craft potions, consumables that can be used by any profession.

Potions

Potions can only be crafted by an Artificer, but can be used by any character, as long as the level requirement is met. All potion recipes require one of each material or ingredient, and most yield 5 potions, though some yield 10. As a general rule, most potions (but not all) require a  Pile of Dust of the corresponding tier and a  Jug of Water.
