One of Havroun Weibe's shamans, Hallveig, has reported that the Raven Sanctum has recently been taken over by the Fallen Voice and the Fallen Claw. Raven Shaman Hallveig is looking for volunteers to enter the sanctum and cleanse it of this menace.

Weekly Strike Mission: Voice of the Fallen and Claw of the Fallen is the second strike mission introduced into the game, taking place in Sanctum Arena.

Getting there[edit]

After selecting one of the modes, either Public or Squad, players will be put into a new instance with up to 10 players. If a Public mission engages the boss with fewer than 10 players, it will be locked down and no more players will be able to join.

  • Portal in the middle of Bjora Marches.
    • Only available during its appropriate weekly rotation.
  • Strike Mission portal in Eye of the North.
    • Available at any time, no matter the weekly rotation.


  • Speak to the Raven shaman to begin the Strike Mission.

It is best to start the fight with 10 players. The Voice of the Fallen applies ranged pressure, while the Claw of the Fallen applies melee pressure. All of the Voice's attacks may be reflected, including their barrage of red immobilization traps. The Claw has a standard 3-chain attack that looks similar to a Scrapper's Rocket Charge, with the 3rd attack stunning [verification requested] and dealing additional damage. Occasionally, the Voice and Claw will teleport, usually forcing the group to move if they want to continue attacking the same target. When they both reach 20% health or lower, the two Fallen will begin to occasionally teleport to the center of the arena. Once there, they will begin attacking in unison while their defiance bar is unlocked. Breaking this bar will knock both of them down, halting their attacks for a decent amount of time. If one is killed before the other, the remaining Fallen will become enraged. It is recommended to kill both within a couple seconds of the other.

General strategy (brief)
  • Focus the Voice of the Fallen until she is at 20%, then switch to the Claw. Kill them within a few seconds of the other.
  • Bring reflection or projectile absorption skills to reflect the Voice's attacks, especially her barrage of red immobilization circles.
  • Bring Crowd control abilities to break their defiance bar when they teleport to the center.
General strategy (detailed)

Focus attacks on the Voice. This will lead the Claw to follow you to wherever the Voice teleports to, allowing your group to cleave both at the same time. Use Projectile reflection or Projectile destruction skills often, but especially when the Voice launches a barrage of red AoE indicators. This series of circles is 100% reflectable. If it is not reflected, it will spawn red immobilization traps, which may hinder your teams ability to dodge the Claw's attacks. When the Voice has reached a low threshold of health (usually around 20%), swap to targeting the Claw. Keep in mind that while the Voice will not follow you, her attacks should still be reflected. This will continue to do damage to her. Whenever the two Fallen come together in the middle, it is imperative that the group deplete their defiance bars. Their attacks when combined do quite a bit of damage and are difficult to avoid completely. Once the Claw is at 10-15%, gauge whether it is necessary to swap back and forth between the Voice and the Claw. Switch back and forth as necessary, though a 5% margin is quite doable, even when enraged.

This chest is protected by an element of the wild and won't open by normal means. Try furthering your training in its opposing essence manipulation.
