Dialogue[edit]

Before cleansing Wolverine Shrine
Vigil Shaman: Commander. Braham was just telling me what you're doing. My grandmother prayed to Wolverine, so this is an honor.
<Character name>: We may not be able to free these Spirits, but if we can help them remember what they were...
Braham Eirsson: I'll pray to the Spirit to draw it out. You can help by purifying the shrine.
Vigil Shaman: Make haste. The corruption will return quickly. We have only a few minutes.
Vigil Shaman: My grandmother taught me these rites. They're strong, but not strong enough to combat an Elder Dragon's corruption.
Braham Eirsson: I'll be ready.
Event Cleanse the corrupted Wolverine Spirit shrine begins
Vigil Shaman: Wolverine stirs. Begin the ritual!
Braham Eirsson: Wolverine! Lend your power, so I may slay Drakkar and free this place of Jormag's corruption!
After cleansing Wolverine Shrine
Corrupted Wolverine Spirit: You are the one who would stand against the ice dragon's champion?
Braham Eirsson: I am Braham Eirsson, and I will do more than stand against it. I'll slay it.
Corrupted Wolverine Spirit: Yet you struggle to stand before even me. I can see your spirit. Your valor. What little you possess.
Braham Eirsson: You're calling me a coward?
Corrupted Wolverine Spirit: You will never slay Drakkar, because you fight only for yourself. There is no courage in you. Only selfishness.
Braham Eirsson: I fight with the commander now. Rytlock, Crecia, Jhavi—all the others.
Corrupted Wolverine Spirit: You fight for them. But not with them. You wish to fulfill prophecy to impress. To prove out of fear.
Braham Eirsson: You know what? You're right. I do want to prove myself. I want to earn my legend.
Braham Eirsson: You say it's weakness to doubt. But that doubt makes me want to be stronger. Because I know I can be better.
Corrupted Wolverine Spirit: Very well, Braham Eirsson. May my valor guide you to the victory I once sought.
Corrupted Wolverine Spirit: Slay Drakkar. Challenge Jormag. Those of us that remain will watch. And wait.
Braham Eirsson: Wolverine's fallen so far. He's so different than the stories made him out to be. But...he was still right.
Talk more option tango.png Right? About what?
I wanted to prove myself. Wanted to prove I was better than you. Would've done anything.
Talk more option tango.png I'd say you succeeded more than once.
You were patient, I'll say that. I needed time, and you gave it to me.
Talk end option tango.png We'll talk later.

Before cleansing Ox Shrine
Braham Eirsson: You want to turn the commander into a what now?
Ox Shaman: An ox.
<Character name>: It's okay, Braham. We'll do what it takes.
Ox Shaman: I wish I could make the offering myself, but those years are far behind me. Your friend must help. And you must pray.
Event Prove your strength to the Ox Spirit begins
Ox Shaman: It begins. Now, you must show your strength to Ox! Embody his spirit, and drag those offerings to the shrine!
Braham Eirsson: Ox Spirit! I demand you lend your power, so I may slay Drakkar!
After cleansing Ox Shrine
Corrupted Ox Spirit: What is this puny thing that dares approach?
Braham Eirsson: I am Braham Eirsson. Norn of prophecy. It was me who cracked the Fang of the Serpent.
Corrupted Ox Spirit: You did not crack the Fang. Your mother's bow fired the arrow. Aided by jotun magic.
Braham Eirsson: It was my hand that shot the arrow.
Corrupted Ox Spirit: A hand constantly held by Eir Stegalkin and your precious commander.
Corrupted Ox Spirit: What strength you have was given to you by others. Inside, you have nothing.
Braham Eirsson: The only way we slay Drakkar is together. We share our strength, or we die.
Braham Eirsson: Look what happened to you! You hoard your power but still serve another. Would you doom the norn to the same fate?
Corrupted Ox Spirit: Very well, Braham Eirsson. May my strength guide you to the victory I once sought.
Corrupted Ox Spirit: Slay Drakkar. Challenge Jormag. Those of us that remain will watch. And wait.
Braham Eirsson: That was tough, Commander. I was actually pretty worried.
Talk more option tango.png Worried? About what?
Honestly? That I didn't have what it took. The strength to lead. Not after seeing you do it.
Talk more option tango.png You're ready to lead, Braham.
Thanks, Commander. I don't think I was before. But maybe I am now.
Talk end option tango.png We'll talk later.

Before cleansing Eagle Shrine
Vigil Priest: You're saying you can actually commune with Eagle?
Braham Eirsson: Gonna give it my best shot. I'm guessing there's a ritual you've been performing to cleanse the shrine?
Vigil Priest: Slay the icebrood infesting the shrine, take their life essence, and offer it to Eagle.
Vigil Priest: I grew up seeing the old rites painted in caves outside Hoelbrak. Never thought I'd be doing them myself.
Vigil Priest: Jormag's hold is powerful. The shrine only stays cleansed for a few minutes at most.
Braham Eirsson: That's enough. Commander, I'll pray to Eagle and try to get her attention while you cleanse the shrine.
After cleansing Eagle Shrine
Corrupted Eagle Spirit: Braham. Son of Eir. You are unworthy in every respect.
Braham Eirsson: I cracked the Fang of the Serpent. You will give me an audience.
Corrupted Eagle Spirit: Very well, Eir's son. Speak to me of plans and strategy. You kill Drakkar. What next?
Braham Eirsson: We stop Bangar and his army! Stop Jormag from turning them into icebrood!
Corrupted Eagle Spirit: Foolish thing. I asked for strategy. How will killing Drakkar accomplish that?
Braham Eirsson: If Jormag speaks through Drakkar, then we have to shut it up. Free the charr from the dragon's grip.
Corrupted Eagle Spirit: No vision. No foresight. You trust your commander to mind the details. You stumble, hoping your betters will catch you.
Braham Eirsson: The Eagle I know understands that every plan's a risk. And failure's not always failure.
Braham Eirsson: If you take your mistakes and learn from them, you have the foresight to lead.
Braham Eirsson: That's the only vision that matters. And deep down, in the part of you that isn't corrupted, you know that, too.
Corrupted Eagle Spirit: Perhaps so. Very well, Eir's son: may my vision guide you to the victory I once sought.
Corrupted Eagle Spirit: Slay Drakkar. Challenge Jormag. Those of us that remain will watch. And wait.
Braham Eirsson: It was hard seeing Eagle like that. But even after everything, she still gave me her power.
Talk more option tango.png And you were able to speak to her?
Just for a little bit. She gave me her power, and some choice words. Tested me, like Wolf said.
Talk more option tango.png Sounds like you passed the test.
She tried to make me doubt myself. But I know who I am. Who I was. Who I've become. And I'm okay with that.
Talk end option tango.png We'll talk later.
Talk end option tango.png We'll talk later.
Between first and second shrines
Braham Eirsson: Oof. Wasn't expecting that. One down, two to go, right?
Crecia Stoneglow: Commander, it's Crecia. We're still on Bangar's trail. He's got some distance on us.
<Character name>: You said you were close before. What's going on?
Rytlock Brimstone: My thought exactly. I don't like this, Cre. We pick up the pace, they pick up the pace.
Crecia Stoneglow: Might've caught our scent on the wind.
Rytlock Brimstone: No, it's blowing the wrong way. Something else is going on.
<Character name>: Keep me posted.
Between second and third shrines
Braham Eirsson: That's two Spirits. Just one more and we'll be ready to take it to Drakkar.
Crecia Stoneglow: The commander will do what the commander thinks needs to be done. You're too trusting.
Rytlock Brimstone: And you've spent too much time listening to Bangar. Commander's not like that, Cre.
Crecia Stoneglow: A good strategist knows that sometimes you need to accept collateral damage to get what you want.
Crecia Stoneglow: I know the commander is your friend. But you'd better hope Ryland doesn't get in the way.
Rytlock Brimstone: (grunt)
<Character name>: Better hurry. This is only gonna get worse.
After final shrine
Braham Eirsson: Jhavi? I did it. All three lost Spirits.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Eir would be proud. You ready for Drakkar?
Braham Eirsson: What do I need to do?
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Head to Still Waters Speaking. Cloudseeker has some ideas.
Braham Eirsson: All right. Meet you there, Commander.
<Character name>:Rytlock, Crecia, where are we on Bangar?
Crecia Stoneglow: Close. Tracks are fresher here. The snow hasn't filled them in yet.
Rytlock Brimstone: Just focus on Drakkar. If you don't stop those whispers, Ryland-
Crecia Stoneglow: Enough, Brimstone! Bangar should be our focus. The future of the charr should be our focus.
Rytlock Brimstone: Signal's pretty bad in these mountains. Might lose you for a bit, Commander. Talk later.

My story[edit]

Bjora Marches loading screen.jpg

Braham traveled to each of the three shrines devoted to the lost Spirits of the Wild, demanding their power and proving his worth to them. We're almost ready to go after Drakkar. Cloudseeker had some ideas, so I'm on my way back to Still Waters Speaking.
