Cleanse the corrupted Eagle shrine is a level 80 dynamic event that occurs at the Eaglewatch Rise in Bjora Marches.

Objectives

• Offer the life essence of your enemies to the shrine.

Walkthrough

Kill Corrupted Griffons and bring their essences to the middle of the shrine. Picking up offerings applies the  Offerings to the Eagle Spirit effect. Standing near the wooden walls applies the  Sheltered effect. Standing in the middle of Eagle Shrine will apply the  Eye of the Storm effect.

During the event you will be unable to mount, as shown by the  High Winds effect.

Using ranged AoE skills or ranger pets you can lure the Corrupted Griffons to the center of the shrine without continuously having to deal with the winds.

A total of eight offerings are needed to complete the event.^{[verification requested]}

Vigil Priest: The Eagle Spirit has left us. Now we're only left with this whispering mockery.

Eagle Shaman: Then we must perform the rites. Destroy the icebrood, take their hearts, and bring them to the center.

Vigil Priest: Yes. I'm familiar. There was a cave outside Hoelbrak. The first norn who came south didn't want to forget them.

Vigil Priest: We are all that's left. The only ones who can calm Eagle's spirit. And even then, the corruption returns.

Eagle Shaman: Even if we are destined to repeat these rites forever, I would do it to keep Eagle's shrine free from Drakkar.

Vigil Priest: Do you feel that? The chill on the wind? Go now, and cleanse Eagle's shrine!

Vigil Priest: You there! We must cleanse this shrine! Slay Jormag's servants and offer their essence to Eagle!

During event

Vigil Priest: Eagle stirs but yet sees us as the enemy. Go—continue with the rite!

Vigil Priest: The whispers cloud Eagle's judgment. She knows we're here, but cannot see us. We must open her eyes!

Vigil Priest: Continue your prayers! Eagle is shaking herself free. We must not give up on her!

Vigil Priest: The offerings are working! The whispers are being driven from the shrine!!

Vigil Priest: Just a few more offerings! The rites are nearly complete.

Vigil Priest: The shrine is nearly cleansed! Just a little longer!

Event success

Vigil Priest: There, you feel it? The wind is dying down. The corruption in the air has gone.

Eagle Shaman: We completed the rites and the shrine is purged. But Eagle still falters. Drakkar still feeds on her power.

Vigil Priest: Eagle will never be truly saved, but so long as we can purify this sacred ground, we must. And we will.
