Dialogue[edit]
- Cutscene
- Braham: I thought you should know. They were almost all... By the time I got to Cragstead, a dozen of my friends...
- Knut Whitebear: I see. May the Spirits guide them to peace.
- Braham: If we'd stood together...but no, it's every hunter for himself, right?
- Eir Stegalkin: It's not that simple.
- Braham: Yes. It is.
- Eir Stegalkin: What are you going to do now?
- Braham: You care? I'm going to rebuild Cragstead with whoever's left of my friends.
- Knut Whitebear: The smart choice is to regroup and finish the fight later. Whatever you do, may the Spirits keep you safe.
- After the cutscene
- Knut Whitebear: He has Bear's backbone and Raven's wit.
- Eir Stegalkin: Yes. He got those from his father. I just wish he didn't also have Wolf's heart.
- Talking to NPCs
- Braham: I'm glad I ran into you here. I wanted to say that it really meant something to me that you helped me out, a stranger you didn't even know. You'll always find a warm welcome in Cragstead. Visit anytime.
- What will you do now?
- My friend Rox and I are helping the Vigil clear out those Molten weapons facilities. There's more fighting to be done, and I...I'm looking for a friend who got lost in the tangle.
- Good luck, then.
- Maybe I will.
- Knut Whitebear: I hear you've been busy. I bet it's satisfying giving those Flame Legion and dredge the kick in the face they deserve. I want to hear all the details.
- It's intense.
- I know. The Vigil came through here. They're calling them the Molten Alliance and talking about their cave dens. It sounds like they're dug deep.
- Yeah. But we're smoking them out.
- Some other time.
- Eir Stegalkin: I heard you went to Cragstead. I hope you had a good fight. I was worried for...those steaders.
- Braham fights well.
- No doubt. I wish I could've fought beside him, but I can't leave Hoelbrak vulnerable for what seemed like a lost cause. I tried to convince Braham to stay too. He'll probably never forgive me.
- Is it true that Braham is your son?
- It's true. I was young and eager to prove myself. He's lived with his father all these years. We agreed it was the best thing for him.
- I see. Good-bye for now.
- Maybe. Maybe not. Good-bye for now.
- Every fight is a good fight.
Notes[edit]
