Deal increased strike damage to weakened foes. Burst skills inflict weakness. Can only occur once per interval per target for multihit burst skills.

Different multihit burst skills like  Flurry.png Flurry and  Combustive Shot.png Combustive Shot share the same internal interval.
  • Using the Spellbreaker elite specialization reduces the weakness duration to 1.5 seconds in PvP only.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented weakness from being applied with several burst skills.

  • This trait no longer applies weakness when striking an enemy below 50% health. Instead, it applies weakness when striking an enemy with a burst skill.

  • Increased damage bonus from 7% to 10% in PvE only.
  • Text on many damage-increasing profession traits, runes, and sigils has been clarified to indicate whether they increase outgoing strike damage, condition damage, or all damage, as appropriate.
August 08, 2017 Path of Fire pre-patch:
  • Increased bonus damage from 5% to 7%.
  • Increased health threshold from 33% to 50%.
  • Increased weakness duration from 3 seconds to 5 seconds.
  • This trait now applies weakness to foes regardless of if they already have weakness on them, but it has a 5-second internal cooldown.
April 19, 2016
  • Increased the health threshold for weakness application from 25% to 33%.
June 23, 2015 Specialization update:
  • Updated this trait to reflect the introduction of the specialization mechanic.
  • Added: Striking a foe without weakness that is below 25% health inflicts weakness on them for 3 seconds.
August 28, 2012 Game release:
  • Cull the Weak has been added to the game.
