Weapon kit

Disambig icon.png This article is about weapon kits. For other engineer kits, see Device kit.

A weapon kit is a special type of utility skill exclusive to the engineer profession. Using a weapon kit replaces the currently equipped weapon (and its skills) with a special weapon. Device kits can be equipped and stowed instantly, allowing characters to switch back to their original weapon. Kits scale damage based on the rarity of the player’s equipped weapon.

[edit] Notes

  • A weapon kit works the same way as a Device kit and the same traits apply to both.
  • There is an internal cooldown of 1 second when swapping to or from a specific kit. If you swap to or from a kit, you must wait 1 second before you can swap to or from that kit. The cooldown on stowing a kit can be circumvented by using 'Drop bundle' (default key: ~).
