Hawkeye Griffons are a type of griffon found throughout Tyria. As opposed to Owl Griffons, they tend to decorate their nests not with dead animals, but with shiny objects such as shields and weapons.

In certain parts, like the Tanglerot Hills, they can be seen cooperating with the resident harpies. It is currently unknown if the harpies domesticated the griffons like the ogres are capable of, or if their avian nature allows for a more natural bond to exist.
