A list of easy / soloable hero challenges with notes to myself :)

I try to sort them by difficulty within each map.

Heart of Thorns[edit]

Based on "A soloable HP Guide for getting all your specs unlocked!"

It assumes you completed every Heart of Thorns mastery.

In total: 200 Hero point

Verdant Brink[edit]

Easiest approach with low level character is via the Lost Precipice guild hall.

Cliffside Ruins Broken Bluffs Commune, unguarded.
Nuhoch Alchemical Energy Stonetwist Paths Commune, unguarded.
Abyssal Depths Thistlevine Ravine Commune, unguarded.
Pact Airship Wreckage Canopy over Noble Crash Site Commune, unguarded.
Ancient Fighting Pit Shrouded Ruins Commune guarded by Mordrem, can be approached without combat with Springer and gliding.
Ancient Tree Coztic Grounds Commune. Land carefully on the edge to avoid getting attacked by nearby Coztic. (Won't work on low level characters due to increased aggro range.)
Nightthistle Blossom Creeping Crevasse Fight one veteran and four regular Mordrem.
In total: 70 Hero point

Auric Basin[edit]

Easiest approach with low level character is via the Gilded Hollow guild hall.

Hero challenge Location Notes
Exalted Overlook Tarir, the Forgotten City Commune, unguarded.
Toxin-Cured Hog Westwatch Patch You need to survive 1 minute of damage over time effect. See the hero point's page for tips.
Burnisher Quarry Burnisher Quarry Commune, guarded by a Young Beetle. (Not in aggro range unless character is low lvl.) It can be approached with Springer without running through a gauntlet of Hylek as well.
In total: 30 Hero point

Tangled Depths[edit]

Getting to Tangled Depths might be difficult with low level characters, especially without mounts.

Hero challenge Location Notes
Ancient Power Core Decayed Hive Commune. The hero point can be approached from Waypoint (map icon).png Rata Novus Waypoint mostly without combat, but to unlock that you need to run through a gauntlet of chak.
Gilded River Tangled Descent Commune. Use Stealth Gliding and land carefully to avoid the Mordrem Guard Sharpshooter. (Might not work on low level characters due to increased aggro range.)
Jellyfish Grotto Deeproot Sink Commune. The fastest approach (via Waypoint (map icon).png Dragon's Passage Waypoint) requires running through a gauntlet of Mordrem.
In total: 30 Hero point

Dragon’s Stand[edit]

Getting to Dragon’s Stand might be impossible with low level characters, especially without mounts. Try to join a meta run for unlocked waypoints.

Axemaster Hareth's Pod * Southern Blighting Tower Commune, mostly unguarded after the start of Against the Mouth of Mordremoth.
Blademaster Diarmid's Pod * Central Blighting Tower Commune, mostly unguarded after the start of Against the Mouth of Mordremoth.
Stavemaster Adryn's Pod * Northern Blighting Tower Commune, mostly unguarded after the start of Against the Mouth of Mordremoth.
Dragon Overlook * Dragon's Domain Commune, unguarded. Only approachable after the completion of the meta event.
Exalted Pylon Rooted Copse Commune. To approach you have to run through a gauntlet of ooze, Mordrem and Veteran Saurians. If you do this before the end of Against the Mouth of Mordremoth, you don't have to contend with the Champion Stonehead as well. With a Springer you can climb up on the wall south of the hero point and just glide down without having to encounter any enemies.
Mushroom Grotto Central Barbed Gate Commune. To approach you have to glide and run through a gauntlet of Mordrem and mushrooms. If you do this before the end of Against the Mouth of Mordremoth, you don't have to contend with the Champion Mushroom Emperor as well.
Spider Nest Wyvern Scar Commune. To approach you have to run through a gauntlet of Veteran Spiders. If you do this before the end of Against the Mouth of Mordremoth, you don't have to contend with the Champion Spider Queen as well.

With Springer you can jump up the cliffs to avoid the spiders, drop on top of the hero point, and hopefully not get aggroed until you finish the commune.

* Cannot be cheesed with skyscale.

Path of Fire[edit]

It assumes you have access to Raptor and Springer, preferably Griffon too.

In total: 130 Hero point

Crystal Oasis[edit]

Hero challenge Location Notes
Veteran Confessor Opeyemi Amnoon Southern Outskirts Combat, fairly easy.
Branded Pyramid Maculate Fringe Commune, a bit of an easy jumping puzzle. To approach you have to run through a gauntlet of Forged and Branded enemies.
Abandoned Forged Ore The Sinking Ruins Annoying combat, bring ranged weapon and cc.
In total: 30 Hero point

Desert Highlands[edit]

Hero challenge Location Notes
Veteran Yandra Stonetusk Auburn Hills Easy combat.
Veteran Jubua the Wildfire Fortune's Vale Fairly easy combat.
Eternal Fire Tomb of the Primeval Kings Commune. With a Springer and gliding/Griffon you can avoid most of the Branded thronging in the area.
Glowing Campfire Lifeblood Ravine Commune, guarded by one Veteran and several regular Grubs.
Glint's Lair Prophet's Fall Commune, guarded by a Veteran Branded Spark. Starting from Waypoint (map icon).png Makali Outpost Waypoint you can use a Springer to climb up the rocks and crystal formations to avoid most of the Branded thronging in the area.

Elon Riverlands[edit]

Hero challenge Location Notes
Forgotten Shrine Skyward Reach Commune, guarded by a Veteran Branded Forgotten Priest and two Branded Devourers. Avoid more enemies by using the Springer to climb up the outer cliffs, then glide down to the commune spot.
Fallen Giant Elon Flow Commune. Guarded by a Veteran Matriarch Protector.
In total: 20 Hero point

The Desolation[edit]

Hero challenge Location Notes
The Bone Palace Joko's Domain Commune, guarded by two Awakened Archers. To get there, you need to climb the cliffs north of the Bone Palace, then fly over there with a Griffon.
Awakened Wanderer Poisoned Outcrops Okay combat.
In total: 20 Hero point

Domain of Vabbi[edit]

Hero challenge Location Notes
Hunter Glorg Zagonur Cliffs Okay combat. Stay under the protective sphere.

End of Dragons[edit]

It assumes you have access to all mounts, especially Skyscale.

Seitung Province[edit]

Village Overlook (Mori Village) Mori Village Commune, unguarded.
Speaker Headquarters Warden's Folly Commune, unguarded. Use skyscale to climb up on the outside wall.
Submerged Cathedral Lake Lutgardis Commune, unguarded. At the end of the cavern there's a tiny underwater doorway.
House zu Heltzer Zu Heltzer Historical Site Commune, occasionally guarded by a Speaker Ritualist.
In total: 40 Hero point

Dragon's End[edit]

Hero challenge Location Notes
Quarry Overlook Xunlai Jade Quarry Commune, unguarded.
Roaring Waterfall Archipelagos Rim Commune, unguarded.
Quarry Platform Flooded Basin Commune, unguarded. No combat if you approach it flying.
Hatchery Play Pond Seafarer's Enclave Commune, unguarded. There are some enemies nearby, but the NPCs occupy them.
Harvest Temple Main Entrance Harvest Complex Commune, unguarded. No combat if you approach it flying.
In total: 50 Hero point
