Flooded Basin is a large flowing body of water in the top half of Dragon's End. The water courses down and under hard jade, giving way to deep grottoes underneath.

- Supervisor: Hmph. Don't be a serpent sympathizer, kid.
- Worker (1): So what exactly is this big tower for, anyway?
- Supervisor: Oh, this? This is where we hide all the dead bodies...

- Dock Worker (1): I heard the miners accidentally dug too deep and flooded the basin. Abandoned all their work.
- Dock Worker (2): Damn...
- Xunlai Jade Security: This area is off limits until further notice.
- Xunlai Jade Security: The miners who were digging here, geniuses that they were, woke up a goddamn Jade Maw.
- Xunlai Jade Security: I do NOT get paid enough to deal with this crap.

- Cavern Fish are not found in Flooded Basin itself, rather they are found within a cave system whose entrance is at the southwest corner of the lake. The entrance to the cave is at water level, behind some bushes.
