Walkthrough[edit]

Speak to any 3 of the 8 guests with dialogue. After the third one, an explosion will be triggered by the asura gate and the golem will start to malfunction.

The gate attendant will ask the player character to fix it while he logs travellers manually. The golem gains a defiance bar and alternates between three effects. Using the correct skill to counter the current effect damages its defiance bar slightly and when the bar is depleted the golem is fixed. If the player uses the wrong skill three times the gate attendant will fix the golem himself, which is the quickest way to proceed as failing only means you don't earn the achievement.

# Skill Activation time Recharge time Description
1 Activate... (red).png Increase Voltage 0.75¾ 1 Use when the golem is overcooled.
2 Activate... (blue).png Apply Coolant 0.75¾ 1 Use when the golem is overheating.
3 Activate... (yellow).png Ground Electricity 0.75¾ 1 Use when the golem is overcharged.
Bug locations
Bug locations

After a conversation with Taimi, the special action key will pop up so that you can find 3 bugs hidden throughout the garden. The tooltip for the skill explains how it works, but the redder the bar and the more times it blinks, the closer you are to the area. The bugs are always in the same location and a star will appear as you get close. Checking the area triggers a fight with an air elemental. After finding all three bugs, return to Jennah and wait until she reaches the Ministry Hall.

After the attack, kill all the aggressive ministers in the hall, plus the jade construct. You will then need to set up two protection walls on the ramps up, achieved by killing the Ministry mesmer porting in White Mantle members. Note that the mesmers need to be killed twice since they will just shatter as an illusion the first time (and that conditions carry over from the first to the second, making them much easier to kill on a condition damage-based build). After the two side protections are up, head to the throne room. Wait for Estelle to finish talking, then kill her.

A Royal Summons

<Character name>, Her Majesty, Queen Jennah of Kryta, requests your attendance at a festive meeting of ministers in the Upper City. Please make your way to the throne room at your earliest convenience.

—QJ

Upon reading the letter
<Character name>: An invitation from the queen herself... Taimi, do you read me?
Taimi: (YAWN!) I'm here, Commander. Whoa, must have nodded off there for a second...
<Character name>: I'm headed to Divinity's Reach to meet the Queen, but... Have you heard from Braham?
Taimi: No, sorry. Rox got word through, though. Apparently she talked SOME sense into him. He formed an...exploratory committee, let's say.
Taimi: They're making their way up to Jormag as we speak, to see what kind of damage they can do before mobilizing a larger force.
Taimi: I'm worried about him, Commander. He's calling this group Destiny's Edge.
<Character name>: I don't suppose Rytlock or Caithe had any say in that?
Taimi: No... I don't... I don't want to lose him to Jormag. And if we're right about its weakness, he won't stand a chance.
<Character name>: How are we doing on that front?
Taimi: I have an idea—a great idea. Brilliant, really.
Taimi: But I need to complete the experiment with the samples, then reach out to some contacts to see if I can get what I need for the aforementioned BRILLIANT idea.
Taimi: I'll keep you posted. Anyway, say hi to the queen for me!
<Character name>: Do you know her?
Taimi: I feel like I do after all the gossip rags I've read! Do you know she doesn't wear shoes!
Taimi: Try not to stare at her feet now that I've told you that!
<Character name>: You're a huge help as always. Get some rest.
Taimi: Bye!

Story instance at The Upper City[edit]

Approaching Queen Jennah
Queen Jennah: There you are: the illustrious leader of Dragon's Watch. Welcome.
<Character name>: I appreciate the sentiment, Your Majesty. But I feel like I haven't been much of a leader lately.
<Character name>: I don't know how you do it.
<Character name>: You have a whole kingdom to worry about while I can't even manage to keep a handful of people driving toward one purpose.
Queen Jennah: It's a trying task, but to be honest, sometimes I envy what must be the simplicity of your life.
Queen Jennah: This place is all politics and subtext. Do a thing one person likes and three hate you for it.
Queen Jennah: It can get very complicated. You? You just relentlessly smash things until they're no longer at odds with you.
Queen Jennah: I wish it were like that around here sometimes.
<Character name>: (Laughs) Well, what can I smash for you today?
Queen Jennah: I believe a White Mantle attack is imminent and must take certain actions, here in Divinity's Reach, to ensure its safety.
<Character name>: The fact that you're not really describing these actions makes me think they might be a little unorthodox.
Queen Jennah: What do you think of this garden, Commander?
<Character name>: It's...lovely.
Queen Jennah: Isn't it? And to preserve such a marvel requires constant maintenance.
Queen Jennah: Sometimes weeds creep in...and sometimes you must eradicate them lest your garden become unkempt.
<Character name>: I see...
Queen Jennah: I've called the ministers here under the auspices of a reassuring gathering, but I really need to deliver what some will consider shocking news.
Queen Jennah: Your presence here will go a long way to ease minds, so please, mingle...and also...keep an eye out.
Queen Jennah: Any evidence of White Mantle meddlings you find would only support my actions.
<Character name>: I'll do some digging. And, Your Majesty, you missed a weed there.
Queen Jennah: That looks like one, but it's actually the Krytan Spiderwort. It'll bloom soon, and its petals give you the most luscious dyes.
Queen Jennah: It's my favorite flower. It hides its true potential from most and then blossoms into something great. Happy hunting, Commander.
Talking to Queen Jennah again
Is there something else you need, Commander?
Talk more option tango.png I'm surprised you invited me here instead of Anise. Where is she?
Anise is...occupied, I'm afraid. As for your invitation, you're a trusted friend, and I've no doubts your presence is a welcome relief to the ministers as well—the loyal ones, anyway.
Talk back option tango.png I have more questions.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you for the information.
Talk more option tango.png Do you have any updates on Logan Thackeray?
I'm sad to say that Logan is still recovering from his injuries. There isn't much else I am able to tell you about his recovery, but it has been slow.
Talk back option tango.png I have more questions.
Talk end option tango.png He'll be back on his feet in no time, I'm sure.
Talk more option tango.png Since Caudecus was in charge of the Ministry Guard, are you concerned about their loyalty?
I most certainly am concerned, Commander. It's why I need you here.
Talk back option tango.png I have more questions.
Talk end option tango.png I understand. I will keep an eye out.
Ambient dialogue on the stairs leading to the Royal Palace
Noble (1): It seems strange for the commander to be attending a ministry meeting, doesn't it?
Noble (2): The queen has her reasons, I'm sure. The extra security is a bit worrisome, though.
Noble (1): It is! And still no sign of Logan Thackeray!
Noble (2): Mm, it's unnatural to see the queen wandering around without him lately.
Ambient dialogue near the Ministry Guard in the east
Noble (female): I'm surprised the Wi family has the guts to show their faces after what their daughter has done.
Noble (male): Oh, don't be cruel. Minister Wi wouldn't abandon his duties.
Noble (female): Yes, but treason against the queen! That's a lot of shame to bear.
Noble (male): It is, but we'd do well to ignore Valette's mistakes and recognize his commitment to the position.
Ambient dialogue near Lord Faren and Lady Merula
(This is a group of two nobles and a female unnamed Minister in the middle who stays silent)
Noble (1): Quite a lot of guards at this "ministry" meeting, huh?
Noble (2): Yes, it seems they outnumber us at least three to one.
Noble (1): More like a militia meeting, if you ask me. At least we're a bit safer.
Noble (2): Are we safer? I think these extra guards send the opposite message.
Noble (1): Well, we should do our best to keep up appearances. The people need it with the White Mantle out there.
Noble (1): I'm grateful I got invited to this event at all!
Noble (2): I'm starting to wish I stayed home.
Talking to Minister Estelle
Excuse me. I couldn't help notice you speaking with the queen. How is she?
Talk more option tango.png A pillar of strength under pressure, as always.
Oh, that's good to hear. With everything that's happening...I worry for her. For us.
Talk more option tango.png Yes, the White Mantle are beyond despicable, aren't they?
Quite.
Talk more option tango.png Power-hungry mongrels with nothing more than gold in their eyes.
Indeed.
Talk more option tango.png I've stepped on things with more moral authority than those poisonous toads.
It's very clear how you feel about the White Mantle.
Talk more option tango.png Your friend Caudecus's association with them must have rattled you.
I can tell you, no one was more shocked. I hadn't the faintest idea.
Talk more option tango.png Really? Even with all the rumors circulating before he broke out?
Oh, I try to ignore gossip. People caught spreading such filth should earn a trip to the gallows.
Talk end option tango.png I feel the same way about traitors; they should watch their necks. Good day.
Talk end option tango.png Excuse me, Minister. I must be going.
Talking to the Minister near the stairs to the Royal Palace
Why, hello, Commander. Is there something you need?
Talk more option tango.png I'm just checking in. How do you feel about tonight's gathering?
It is not wholly uncommon for the queen to request a meeting, but given the circumstances, I am a bit concerned.
Talk more option tango.png What circumstances?
Well, surely you are aware of the detestable betrayal by our own legate minister. He has been missing for some time, so I hear.
Talk more option tango.png I am aware. Did you ever work closely with Caudecus?
Caudecus and I only ever met in an official capacity. Aside from spotting him at the occasional party, we rarely interacted.
Talk more option tango.png I see. Do you have any reasons to suspect anyone has sympathies for him?
I don't mean to spread gossip, but there were rumors that Minister Arton was colluding with the White Mantle prior to Caudecus's defection. As I understand it, he and the legate are close friends.
Talk more option tango.png The queen seems to trust Minister Arton, though. Why don't you?
Ah, well, I suppose a bad reputation can be difficult to overcome. That may be unfair of me, but I have a hard time trusting anyone during times like these.
Talk end option tango.png I understand. Thank you for your time.
Talk end option tango.png Excuse me, Minister. I must be going.
Talking to Minister Arton
How may I be of service to the commander this evening?
Talk more option tango.png What are your thoughts on tonight's gathering of ministers?
I can't help but feel a bit uneasy during these difficult times. I suspect the large number of guards present are the queen's way of reassuring us ministers, but their presence has me...anxious.
Talk more option tango.png What do you make of the extra security measures?
The queen always has our best interests in mind. Of this, I have no doubt.
Talk more option tango.png You speak highly of her. Are the two of you close?
Her Majesty has guided me through turmoil in the past, and illuminated some harsh truths about traitors whom I once called friends. She has my fullest confidence.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you for your time.
Talk end option tango.png Excuse me. I must be going.
Talking to the Ministry Guard
How can I help you, Commander?
Talk more option tango.png Have you seen anything suspicious?
No, but we have been on high alert as of late. Our Legate Minister Caudecus converted to the White Mantle, as you know, and that has reflected poorly on us.
Talk more option tango.png Do you suspect anyone among the Guard to be sympathetic to Caudecus?
I have heard that Ministry Guards in the past have betrayed Kryta, but now? Here at this gathering? No way, Commander. Our men are loyal to Queen Jennah. That's why they are here.
Talk more option tango.png How can you be so sure?
Honestly, I guess I can't be... But I promise to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.
Talk end option tango.png Good to hear.
Talk end option tango.png Please excuse me.
Talking to Minister Wi
Minister Wi: How good it is to see you at a time like this.
Talk more option tango.png Do you have reason to distrust anyone at this meeting?
Lady Wi: The people who cross over...it could be anyone. People you would never expect...
Charisma It must be difficult to be here after your daughter's treason.
Minister Wi: It is my duty as a minister to represent my people. The queen has been gracious to us during these difficult times...and I would hope you would share her understanding.
Talk more option tango.png Your association with Valette raises suspicions about your allegiances.
Minister Wi: The queen has no reason to be concerned, and neither do you. My wife and I have always worked for the betterment of Kryta.
Talk end option tango.png Indeed.
Ferocity Like your daughter?
Yes, Valette made a horrible mistake. We are devastated, as you can imagine, but our daughter's actions are not our own.
Talk more option tango.png Your association with Valette raises suspicions about your allegiances. (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png I'm sorry. No time to talk at the moment.
Talking to the Shining Blade
I think I can speak for the Shining Blade when I say I'm glad you're with us here, Commander.
Talk more option tango.png I'm honored. Looks like you've got plenty of support from the Ministry Guard.
Indeed. There are a lot of Ministry Guards here...but this is a meeting of the ministry, so I suppose it makes sense. Still, something about it has me on edge.
Talk more option tango.png On edge? How so?
The Shining Blade takes an oath to protect the throne and Kryta above all. The Ministry Guards, however, pledge their allegiance to the Legate Minister. To Caudecus.
Talk more option tango.png Do you think the Ministry Guard still hold allegiance to that traitor?
I have my suspicions. No proof, but I certainly have my suspicions.
Talk back option tango.png I have more questions.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you for the information.
Talk more option tango.png Have you seen any suspicious activity among the Ministry Guard recently?
I haven't, but I'm not so foolish to think that just because I don't see it it's not there. These traitors are cunning, and we have to remain vigilant.
Talk back option tango.png I have more questions.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you for the information.
Talk more option tango.png Is there anyone you are particularly suspicious of?
I... I'd rather not point out any fingers or risk a false accusation. Suffice to say I'm keeping an eye out.
Ferocity Tell me now.
Well, uh...I'm surprised to see Estelle is still a part of the Ministry after she was caught lying about official matters. I know the Queen pardoned her, but...well, I just can't trust her. Not again.
Talk end option tango.png Good point. Thanks for sharing, and keep an eye out.
Dignity I respect your decision, but I could really use your insight. (Same as "Tell me now.")
Talk end option tango.png Good to hear.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you. Please excuse me.
Talking to Lord Faren
Lord Faren: Ah, Commander! What a pleasure!
Talk more option tango.png What brings you to this ministry meeting?
Minister Merula: Oh, he's my plus one! I didn't want to be the only minister to come without a guest. Plus, I like to keep some muscle around during these dangerous times.
Talk more option tango.png I see.
Lord Faren: I could never turn down a lady's invitation. Should the White Mantle dare to show their faces, Swordmaster Faren will put them in their place!
Talk more option tango.png Have you seen anything suspicious this evening?
Lord Faren: Thankfully, no, but I have been rather busy chatting with Minister Merula.
Talk more option tango.png That's nice.
Minister Merula: Oh, Faren. Don't let me distract you all evening.
Talk end option tango.png I...think I should get going.
Talk end option tango.png Apologies, but I can't talk right now.
Talking to Lady Gwynith
It is a pleasure to see you again, Commander.
Talk more option tango.png Ah, Lady Gwynith of Beetletun! Are you here on behalf of Minister Caudecus?
I am. The people of Beetletun still need a voice within the ministry, and I am committed to ensuring that we maintain good relations despite Caudecus's treason.
Talk more option tango.png You must've worked closely with Caudecus.
For a time, yes. Since he converted to the White Mantle, he has abandoned us, so it has been a long time since I saw him.
Charisma Do you and the people of the shire still hold sympathies for him?
Of course not. We are ashamed to have ever called him our leader. He has turned his back on Kryta and on the gods themselves.
Talk end option tango.png Good to know.
Ferocity That seems unlikely. You live just outside his front door!
I don't appreciate what you're insinuating, Commander. I, and the rest of the people of Beetletun, are paying the price of Caudecus's treason.
Talk end option tango.png I understand. I appreciate your time.
Talk end option tango.png Please pardon me. I must be going.
After having talked to three attendees
<Character name>: That didn't sound good.
Gate Attendant: Ahh! You stupid piece of junk!
Gate Attendant: This is unbelievable!
Talking with the gate attendant
Gate Attendant: Oh, bother! Not again!
<Character name>: What happened? ...The White Mantle?
Gate Attendant: Calm down, calm down. Third time this week this old guy's gone down.
Gate Attendant: Ugh, I have to manually enter manifest data when he's off-line.
Gate Attendant: Can you... Would you mind getting him up and running while I keep the gate's records?
<Character name>: Sure.
Gate Attendant: What a sport! And do be quick about it. My hand cramps easily.
Repairing the gate golem
<Character name>: This is an odd method of repair.
Gate Attendant: He can be a bit finicky, but the fix-it interface, or "fixterface," I've created should make it clear what he needs in order to be fixed.
Gate Attendant: Do you think that'll catch on? I was also toying with combing display and repair into "disrepair"— Oh. My. Never said that aloud...
If you use the wrong action:
Gate Attendant: No, no, no! You can't repair him until you break him out of his malfunctioning loop.
If you use the wrong action a second time:
Gate Attendant: Listen, the fixterface has three main functions, each specifically designed to counteract the golem's bugs, er...features.
Gate Attendant: Use the correct function to counteract his current state. Do it enough, and it'll break him out of his malfunctioning loop.
If you use the wrong action a third time:
Gate Attendant: You know what? You probably have more important things to do. I'll take it from here.
(If asura or sylvari)
<Character name>: Ah, well, at least I tried.
(If human)
<Character name>: Ah, well, gave it a shot.
(If charr)
<Character name>: Ah, well...
If you repaired the golem:
Gate Attendant: Fixed? Thanks! When you retire from dragon slaying, you should think about opening your own golem repair shop!
Gate Attendant: No one came in or out, so I didn't end up needing to man the gate logs.
Gate Attendant: Plus, I needed the break...
<Character name>: Glad I could do your job for you.
After the golem has been handled
<Character name>: By the way, I found this part but didn't know where it went.. Looks a little like...
Gate Attendant: I've never seen that before. I don't know what it is, but it's not part of this golem.
<Character name>: Huh. Hey, Taimi?
Taimi: Hold on.... (crash) Okay, I'm here. What's up?
<Character name>: Is the communication device you gave me one of a kind?
Taimi: Probably not. I mean, mine is by far the best and most advanced, but there are others out there...
Taimi: Wait, why do you ask?
<Character name>: I found a device that looks a lot like the communicator.
<Character name>: If it was planted here by the White Mantle, they could be listening in. I'm guessing it isn't the only one...
Taimi: If you want, I can use your communicator to send out a high-frequency ping that'll help you find others in your area.
<Character name>: Let's do that. I'll get what I can and show the queen.
Taimi: Oooh, be sure to let her know I helped!
Talking to the Ministry Guard after the explosion
Ministry Guard: I heard the explosion, Commander. Thank you for handling the situation.
Talk more option tango.png It was my pleasure.
How can I help you, Commander?
Talk more option tango.png Have you seen anything suspicious? (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Please excuse me.
Talk end option tango.png Happy to help. Please excuse me.
Talking to the Shining Blade after the explosion
That commotion had us a bit spooked, Commander. Anything to report?
Talk more option tango.png I'm investigating some suspicious devices that may be hidden around here.
Devices? What sort of devices? That is unsettling news, Commander. What can we do to support you?
Talk more option tango.png Be on high alert, although I suspect you are already.
I think I can speak for the Shining Blade when I say I'm glad you're with us here, Commander.
Talk more option tango.png I am honored. Looks like you've got plenty of support from the Ministry Guard. (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Thank you. Please excuse me.
Talk end option tango.png Not yet. Stand by.
Talking to the Minister after the explosion
Is that golem acting up again? That silly thing exploded during our ministry meeting last week.
Talk more option tango.png Yes, it is, but it shouldn't give you any more trouble.
That's good to hear. Is there something you need?
Talk more option tango.png I'm just checking in. How do you feel about tonight's gathering? (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Excuse me, Minister. I must be going.
Talking to Minister Arton after the explosion
How may I be of service to the commander this evening?
Talk more option tango.png What are your thoughts on tonight's gathering of ministers? (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Excuse me. I must be going.
Talking to Minister Wi after the explosion
What was all the commotion, Commander? Is everything all right?
Talk more option tango.png Everything is fine. The gate golem was acting up, that's all.
I pity that golem's attendant. I don't envy his position. It is, however, good to see you at a time like this.
Talk more option tango.png Do you have a reason to distrust anyone at this meeting? (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Please excuse me, Minister.
Talking to Lord Faren after the explosion
Lord Faren: Off to save the day again, Commander? How am I not surprised to see you running toward the source of an explosion?
Talk more option tango.png I have a knack for finding trouble. What brings you to this ministry meeting? (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Please pardon me. I must be going.
Talking to Minister Estelle after the explosion
I heard there was some kind of commotion earlier. Is that gate golem acting up again?
Talk more option tango.png It is, but it shouldn't interrupt your gatherings any longer.
Oh, that's good to hear. I couldn't help notice you speaking with the queen. How is she?
Talk more option tango.png A pillar of strength under pressure, as always. (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Excuse me, Minister. I must be going.
Talking to Lady Gwynith after the explosion
I heard the commotion. Is everything all right, Commander?
Talk more option tango.png Ah, yes. Nothing to worry about. Are you here on behalf of Minister Caudecus? (Same as above)
Talk end option tango.png Please pardon me. I must be going.
Investigating the first eavesdropping device
(If asura)
<Character name>: The devices have a security system? Suspect.
(Otherwise)
<Character name>: The devices have a security system? Suspicious...
After investigating all the eavesdropping devices
<Character name>: This seems like enough to back up whatever the queen's about to do. I should give these to her.
Talking to Queen Jennah after obtaining the evidence
Queen Jennah: Commander, I was just trying to reassure the Wis here. It's a stressful time for them...not just them, for everyone.
Minister Wi: The queen is politely dancing around the fact that our daughter is a...is on the wrong side of this.
<Character name>: Have you heard from her? At all?
Minister Wi: We...haven't heard from Valette. That doesn't mean we won't! She's a good girl, Commander, just a little lost.
Minister Wi: She'll find her way home. We only want to hear her play the violin again.
Queen Jennah: We all do, Minister.
<Character name>: May we speak a moment, Your Majesty?
Queen Jennah: Of course.
Minister Wi: Pardon us.
<Character name>: I found these listening devices around the courtyard. They could be White Mantle.
Queen Jennah: Thank you, Commander. I needed evidence like this to support my stance. It appears this is an opportune time, then.
Queen Jennah: Allow me to excuse myself. I have a speech to give.
Listening to Queen Jennah's announcement
Queen Jennah: Ministers and members of the royal court, for years we've had a fester inside the kingdom, a creeping undertow that sucked some of our friends and family into its darkness.
Queen Jennah: Now, with Confessor Caudecus at the White Mantle's helm, this seething conflict will soon come to a head.
Queen Jennah: As we are poised to be smashed between two rising Elder Dragons, we cannot stand for a threat from within.
Queen Jennah: For this reason, I'm hereby suspending the Ministry until the danger has passed.
Queen Jennah: Some of you will understand it's for your safety.
Queen Jennah: Others will understand that I have trapped them here, far from the White Mantle's network.
Minister: ...You cannot! I won't be treated like a common dolyak, herded into a pen and kept as livestock!
Minister: I am no criminal! You claim this will keep us safe? From what? Who will keep us safe from you, I say!
Queen Jennah: Good Minister, this measure is temporary, I assure you. Only until the kingdom is safe from attack and the traitors in our midst have revealed themselves.
Queen Jennah: The commander has already verified...
Minister: There is no attack! This is an autocrat's ploy!
Minister: Fellow ministers, this is a moment in life, a rare moment, where you will look back one day and say I made a stand or I did nothing!
Minister: Do you silently let the queen capture your voice, and the voice of the people, or do you make enough noise that the Six Gods themselves hear us say "NAY!"
Minister: When my grandfather—
After the attack starts
Queen Jennah: No! Minister Arton!
<Character name>: Your Majesty! We have to get you to safety!
Queen Jennah: We need to secure the ministers! The loyal ones, at least!
<Character name>: I'll try to take care of them, but you're my top priority.
After rescuing a group of Hostage Nobles
<Character name>: Head to the throne room!
After the Ministry Defectors are defeated
Queen Jennah: We've prepared for many contingencies. There are some defenses ready to set up right outside the chamber. Quickly!
Bolstering Eastern Defensive Barrier
Queen Jennah: Cover me while I set up this defensive barrier.
Queen Jennah: A mesmer portal... More White Mantle incoming!
Bolstering Western Defensive Barrier
<Character name>: Great. Another mesmer!
Queen Jennah: Smash away, Commander!
After bolstering Western Defensive Barrier
Queen Jennah: One barrier left.
<Character name>: Good. Then to the throne room. We can easily defend it.
Queen Jennah: The last one is just outside there.
Outside the throne room
Queen Jennah: This is the last one.
Minister Estelle: Ah-ah-ah, Jennah! That's enough.
Minister Estelle: Fellow ministers, join me and help the White Mantle rid Kryta of this illegitimate ruler or stand by her side and be judged by my fire!
Queen Jennah: Estelle, what a surprise. Who could have seen this coming?
Queen Jennah: You?
Queen Jennah: Maybe you?
Queen Jennah: Did you?
Queen Jennah: And you, my friend? Were you surprised?
Minister Estelle: Get back here, you! ...I hate to break it to you, but I won't run as easily.
Minister Estelle: I was honored when Caudecus tapped me for the job of regicide, and I will see it to its bloody end!
Logan Thackeray: Not on my watch, Estelle!
<Character name>: Logan!
Queen Jennah: Captain Thackeray, beyond brave as always, but I need you leading the defense of the city. I'll handle this bloated tick.
Minister Estelle: Handle me? You can't move!
Minister Estelle: This hamstrung doormat is your only hope, and I'm about to kill him just to put him out of his lovesick misery!
Minister: Estelle!
Minister Estelle: What? The whole Ministry knew it!
Queen Jennah: You'll regret that slight...
Minister Estelle: Damn you!
After defeating Minister Estelle
Queen Jennah: That's the last of them, then. For now.
Logan Thackeray: That... That was an impressive show, Your Majesty.
<Character name>: It was. How'd you like smashing things to solve your problems?
Queen Jennah: I never want to take up arms against one of my subjects, but...I think I might be quite suited for your lifestyle!
<Character name>: I'll save a spot for you in Dragon's Watch if you ever decide to step down.
Queen Jennah: Very kind. Now, what's the situation outside the city?
Logan Thackeray: The White Mantle army is making a push from the lake, but we don't know the full extent of their numbers.
Logan Thackeray: I'm headed down to set up a command tent at Doric's Landing.
<Character name>: It's good to see you on your feet again. I'll meet you there.
Logan Thackeray: Great. We could use the help.
Logan Thackeray: Talk to Lieutenant Fores in the Plaza of Lyssa. I'll make sure you are granted access to the battlefield.
Queen Jennah: Logan, please don't slow your recovery by doing something like getting your self killed.
Queen Jennah: Commander, thank you...and watch out for the weeds.
Speaking to Queen Jennah
Thank you for your assistance. It's unfortunate that we had to...deal with Estelle, but she left us little choice.
Dignity It is unfortunate. I am sorry that your life was threatened again.
The Krytan throne is no stranger to threats—and neither are you, Commander.
Talk more option tango.png Heh, I can't argue with you there.
While you and Logan handle our White Mantle threat to the east, I will do everything I can to ensure you have the full support of the Seraph.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you, Your Majesty. Stay safe.
Ferocity It was my pleasure to bring that traitor to justice.
I have to admit that it was...exhilarating to see some action again. But I'm sure my advisors would prefer I don't make a habit of it.
Talk more option tango.png With the White Mantle threat so close, you should stay under heavy guard. (Same as "Heh, I can't argue with you there.")
Speaking to Logan Thackeray
Thank you for protecting the queen when I couldn't.
Talk more option tango.png I'm happy to help. How are you feeling?
Recovery has been slow. The blighting pod...changed me. Not my mind, but...my body feels different.
Talk more option tango.png It's good to see you, Logan. I was worried.
Don't worry about me Commander. We have a war to fight. The White Mantle are pushing into Divinity's Reach from the east.
Talk more option tango.png Are there civilians that will need our aid?
A great many of them—all at the mercy of the White Mantle. They will need our full support.
Talk end option tango.png Then we should go at once. I'll see you soon.

My story[edit]

A Meeting of Ministers loading screen.jpg

At Queen Jennah's behest, I joined her in the Upper City for a gathering of the Ministry. Her Majesty delivered a stirring speech before she was suddenly interrupted by a surprise attack by the White Mantle, prompting many of the ministers to reveal their traitorous intentions. Our attention now turns to Lake Doric, presently under siege by the White Mantle.
