Spear of Justice

Virtue: Burn foes every few attacks.
Activate: Hurl a spear of light that passes through foes. Enemies struck become tethered and receive conditions periodically.

  • The passive applies the Spear of Justice.png Virtue of Justice effect on the player character.
  • The spear model is changed when using a Legendary Weapon that modifies projectile attacks.
  • The in-game tooltip only shows the passive burning duration; the active duration is 2 seconds in PvP and WvW.
  • The cripple effect occurs during the active effect.
  • The damage dealt by this skill uses the weapon strength of the currently equipped weapon.
  • Enemy leaving tether range, can sometimes still be pulled for a really small duration
  • Casting pull from higher ground in WvW or PvP, can cause enemy to fly upwards in the air and take falling damage.

  • (Competitive split) Reduced damage from 0.6 to 0.01. Reduced cripple duration from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
