Morwood Wilds is an area of Auric Basin. This extremely dangerous place is under the control of the Mordrem, where three Blighting Tree saplings can be found, their branches interwoven above. Like other Blighting Trees, this place has become a minion factory for Mordrem, with them bringing deceased bodies for the saplings to copy. This area can only be accessed after the event Event swords (tango icon).png Escort Exalted Sage Manssir to Morwood Wilds (80) has been completed.

Whispers Agent (2): I shudder at the thought of that. We must defeat Mordremoth.
Whispers Agent (1): We're the Pact. Of course we'll defeat Mordremoth.
Patrolling the two southern Blighting Tree Saplings
<Random Mordrem Guard 1>: Mordremoth's patience must be at an end.
<Random Mordrem Guard 2>: Nothing will survive once Mordremoth reveals its full power.
<Random Mordrem Guard 1>: Does he whisper to you too?
<Random Mordrem Guard 2>: Yes, me too. I see visions of power, glory...and destruction.
<Random Mordrem Guard 1>: I have no will but the will to serve our creator.
<Random Mordrem Guard 2>: We are of Mordremoth, a part of an Elder Dragon. Now, it all makes sense.
<Random Mordrem Guard 1>: We must destroy anything in our path.


When the meta, Trial by Fire, pre-events begins
<Random Mordrem Guard 1>: We have secured the Forgotten City. Its downfall is inevitable.
<Random Mordrem Guard 2>: The attack has begun. First Tarir, then all of Tyria!
<Random Mordrem Guard 1>: Hear that? Victory over the Forgotten City is soon at hand!
Champion Blademaster Cellona: Mordrem, go forth! Raze the watchposts! Attack the city! Destroy their barrier!
When the meta, Trial by Fire, begins
High Sage: We have protected Tarir for over a century. It will not fall this day.
Champion Blademaster Cellona: (laugh) You attempt to retake Tarir. How cute. Outnumbered and outmatched, you will all die horribly!
When the meta, Trial by Fire, succeeds
Champion Blademaster Cellona: No matter, for time is on our side. While my Mordrem multiply, your numbers dwindle.
When the meta, Trial by Fire, fails
Champion Blademaster Cellona: The sacrifice of the Exalted only delays the inevitable. Surrender to the truth. You cannot stop that which grows forever.
