Huh? That's an odd greeting. How far in the shadows are you?
- I am known as Elray the specter.
- A specter... like a ghost?
- In a sense, it began when Master Togo fell to Shiro Tagachi many years ago... Panaku witnessed the aftermath and vowed to embrace the darkness in order to protect his allies and friends.
- I should probably take a seat...
- Panaku began stealing shadows from his enemies and infusing allies with stolen power. It was a twisted craft... It took him many years to be able to heal an ally without them crying out in pain.
- Have the specters advanced much since Panaku's time?
- Quite. Panaku was incredibly damaging in his approach, like a mad surgeon... We're now able to safely cover ourselves and our allies in protective magics, almost completely negating any harm.
I'm curious about something else.

- I can guess where this is going. Thanks anyway.
- I just needed the big overview, thanks.
- Is that a scepter you're wielding? Fascinating.
- Yes, it is true. Many of us wield a scepter... Though, the shadows are our true weapons.
- Sounds like a lot. It seems that you don't move very quickly though.
- We do sacrifice some of our initiative while mastering the shadows and siphons. However, we also use well abilities to make up for a lack of innate movement.
- I'm curious about something else.
- Sounds that you've got it all covered.

- What is "shadow force"?
- Much of what we do focuses on singular enemies and allies. Targeting allies while entering Shadow Shroud allows us to then focus on our common foes, knowing that our allies are fully protected.

- That's, um, pretty menacing...
- What are you doing in Shing Jea? It's a bit bright. Not a lot of shadows.
- The spirits of the dead are so potent here... Their shadows, vibrant...

- This land was brought to certain ruin by the Affliction many years ago. I come here to reflect, and I hope that it gives me new resolve to protect my allies in the fight to come.
