While you have resolution, all damage dealt is increased, and you gain might when you strike foes. Resolution granted to you lasts longer.

— In-game description

Notes[edit]

Vicious Reprisal creates an addition resolution duration of 50% of its base duration (as stated in its source description), but this duration increase is neither affected by additional boon duration (from concentration, traits etc.) nor is it added to it. Whichever of the both effects is greater overrides the other.

That means, if you have 0% additional boon duration, you get the full 50% duration increase from Vicious Reprisal. If you increase your additional boon duration by concentration or other effects (like traits), the duration of resolution stays the same as long as you have less than or equal to 50% additional boon duration. In this case your additional boon duration seems to have no effect on the duration of resolution .

If you raise the additional boon duration (via concentration or else) above 50% then Vicious Reprisal has no longer any the prolonging effect.
