Bug Fix

• Updated the metal texture on the Dark Monarch Skyscale Skin so that dye colors display more accurately.

Bug Fixes

• The duration of the blessings granted by the Snowflake Gobbler and Zhaitaffy Gobbler now stack rather than overwrite one another. The blessings have both been renamed Festival Gobbler Boost to better reflect this functionality.
• Fixed some issues with autotargeting.

Dragon Bash Festival

It's time for Dragon Bash! It wouldn't be a proper celebration without your attendance. Join me in Hoelbrak for another moot for the ages! There will be tests of strength, racing, food, song, and most importantly—ale.

• Join the celebration in Hoelbrak! Celebrate Tyria's resistance against the Elder Dragons while engaging in a variety of festive games:
  • Dragon Arena: Show off your dragon-fighting prowess against lifelike holograms in the Dragon Arena, or tackle a more difficult gauntlet in Dragon Arena Survival.
  • Hologram Stampede: The fighting continues in the Hologram Stampede, a map-wide scramble to clear the Hoelbrak countryside of deadly enemies.
  • Pinata Bashing: Master the tradition of destroying dragon pinatas in the Pinata Bashing adventure.
  • Dragon Bash Rally: Speed around Hoelbrak in a new mounted race, the Dragon Bash Rally.
  • Moa Race: Tigg's famous racing moas return in a moa race event. Put your zhaitaffy on the line and cheer on the winner!
• The festival meta-achievement, (Annual) Dragon Bash Feats, has been updated with a new reward: the Holographic Dragon Shoulders. Last year's reward, the Holographic Dragon Helm, can now be purchased from the Dragon Bash Merchant (Prizes).
• Norn weaponsmiths have crafted a new take on Dragon Bash's signature Holographic weapons, the Imbued Holographic set. Once you have earned a Holographic weapon, visit the Dragon Bash Merchant (Weapons) to purchase an alternate Imbued Holographic form!
• A new home instance node, the Commemorative Dragon Pinata, can now be purchased from the Dragon Bash Merchant (Prizes).
• A new festival invitation, "Invitation to Dragon Bash,"[sic] will be included in festival announcement mail for easy travel directly to Hoelbrak. If you misplace your invitation, it can be repurchased from Sarettokk in Lion's Arch.
• New Dragon Bash themed guild decorations have been added.
• The party rages for three weeks, from June 23 until July 14 at noon Pacific Time (UTC-7). Get bashing!

Festive Fixes

• Daily hard limits on Dragon Coffers from the Dragon Arena and Dragon Bash Hologram Stampede have been removed.
  • Dragon Bash Hologram Stampede's Dragon Coffer rewards have been split into base rewards (1 coffer per successful tier) and a set of daily bonus achievements (1 coffer per successful tier). Participants will receive the same total coffers as last year for their first 10 max-tier completions a day, and they will continue receiving the base coffers afterward rather than receiving none.
• The Dragon Bash event now displays the time until the next Dragon Bash Hologram Stampede.
• Dragon Hologram devices in the Dragon Bash Hologram Stampede now display an individual event when activated and scale their hologram strength with the number of players fighting in their area.
• Dragon Arena has been updated to end after one set of champions rather than repeating after an intermission delay.
• Updated Dragon Bash events in Hoelbrak to be visible throughout the map.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the moa race announcer to declare an incorrect winner.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the Holo Ice Beast's Icy Charge attack to deal incorrect damage.
• Added safety barriers to Dragon Arena for the safety of spectators and to prevent players from being knocked out of bounds.
• Updated the inventory icons for the Minor Potion of Hologram Slaying, Minor Potion of Branded Slaying, Minor Potion of Mordrem Slaying, and Minor Potion of Slaying Scarlet's Armies.

Strike Missions

•  Artillery Strike: Updated the tooltip and description of the Strike Mission version of this skill to better communicate its damage, area of effect, and targets.

Black Lion Trading Company Gem Store

New Items and Promotions

• The new Dark Monarch Skyscale Skin is now available in the Style category of the Gem Store for 2,000 gems.
• The new Zhaitaffy Gobbler Pack is now available in the Utility category of the Gem Store for 400 gems.
• To celebrate Dragon Bash, Dragon's Fortune Fireworks are free for a limited time. Dragon's Fortune Fireworks are available in the Toys category of the Gem Store, limited to one per account.

Black Lion Chest

• The Black Lion Chest has been updated to the Dragonfire Chest and can be previewed for a full list of its contents.
  • The new Evon Gnashblade Dragon Coffer has been added as the guaranteed item for the duration of the Dragonfire Chest.
  • The new Wyrm's Breath Cape is available as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The new Dark Monarch Skyscale Skin is available as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The Seven Reapers Grasps return as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The Improvised Weapon Collection and the Tempest Weapon Collection are available as uncommon and rare drops respectively for the duration of this chest.
• Unused versions of the Glyph of Volatility and Glyph of the Crucible are available as rare drops for the duration of this chest.
• The items available in exchange for Black Lion Statuettes have been updated. Black Lion Statuettes are redeemable by using the statuette itself or redeeming them at any of the Black Lion Chest Merchants located in every major city.
  • A new selection of hats has been added, including the Swaggering Hat, Fuzzy Panda Hat, and Top Hat, among others.
  • The exclusive Kasmeer's Regalia Cape, Dragon Fireworks Package, Fire-Breathing Package, and Hydra Staff are currently available.
  • Additional items including Kasmeer's Regal Outfit, Kasmeer's Staff Skin, Marjory's Shrouded Outfit, and Marjory's Axe Skin, have been added, among others.

Improvements and Updates

• The two time-limited Black Lion Weapons Specialists have been removed from the Vaults area of Lion's Arch.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue in which harvesting tools would fail to harvest all items from a plant in rare circumstances.
• Fixed an issue with the Mordrem Alpha jackal skin's icon ordering within the Hero panel.

• This update changed the font used to display maploadinfo command line argument information to a monospace font and also changed the color used for values from light greenish to yellow.

Update - June 11, 2020

Bug Fixes

• No Quarter: Fixed an issue that could prevent players from progressing after completing the "Reach the entrance to the hideout" step in the "Snapping Steel" chapter. Affected players can now reload into Drizzlewood Coast to fix the issue.
• Fixed support for the /playdead emote in several languages.

• The Special Forces achievement now properly tracks special missions unlocked while in the PvP lobby and updates missing credit on entering Drizzlewood Coast.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the supply bull escort events in Drizzlewood Coast to stall.
• Fixed a server crash.

Living World

• Damage caused by United Legion catapults has been reduced slightly.
• Damage caused by United Legion ballistae has been reduced slightly.

Drizzlewood Coast

• Damage to base infrastructure caused by the Electromagical Pulse Mastery skill has been reduced significantly.
• Damage to base infrastructure caused by the Remote Charge Mastery skill has been increased significantly.
• Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented staged artillery assaults and accompanying sound effects from playing when the Battle Cry meta-event resets.
• Fixed an issue that prevented a final supply drop from being awarded when the United Legions Readiness bar was completely filled.
• Players will now be airlifted out of the Vloxen Mine if they are inside when the capture or defend events fail.
• Fixed an issue in which the contact NPC for the "Gather intelligence from Dominion recon specialists" event would get stuck and no longer accept the intelligence being gathered.

General

• Strike Mission: Cold War: Champions' defiance bars now properly react to defiance damage.
• Essence Manipulation Mastery: Fixed an issue that would cause tier-4 Essence Manipulation Mastery skills to not chain to two nearby enemies as intended.

• Fixed an issue in which the Glyph of Overload could be used to exploit harvest nodes in specific circumstances.

Update - June 9, 2020

World Polish

• Players can no longer airdrop into bases in Drizzlewood Coast while in combat, in water, or in a downed state.

General

• Characters inspired by the Friend/Ships 2020 grand prize winners have made their home in Hoelbrak. Stop by the Trade Commons and welcome Haeldra and Sera Longstride!
• Increased the amount of experience gained in the tutorial.

Strike Missions

• Cold War: Fixed an issue in which some objects and enemy abilities were not removed after the event succeeded or reset.
• Cold War: Fixed an issue that prevented Mastery points from the Morale Breaker achievement from properly unlocking inside the Strike Mission map. Any players who have previously earned the Mastery points but do not yet have them unlocked will acquire them on entering the Drizzlewood Coast or Cold War maps.

Items

•  The Chilly Chaise: Fixed an issue in which the chair was not orienting to the slope of the terrain.
•  The Chilly Chaise: Fixed a clipping issue that occurred with asura sitting in the chair.

New Items and Promotions

• The new Mordrem Alpha Jackal Skin is now available in the Style category of the Gem Store for 1,600 gems.
• For a limited time, the Crystalline Dragon Wings Backpack Glider Combo and Golden Feather Wings Backpack and Glider Set return to the Style category of the Gem Store for 700 gems each.
• For a limited time, the weapon skins for Eir's Legacy Longbow, Braham's Mace, and Braham's Shield return to the Style category of the Gem Store for 600 gems each. Additional weapon skins will return throughout the week.

Bug Fixes

• The Thresher-Sickle 5000 now properly aligns with resource nodes.
• Updated the unlock text for the Choya Finisher and Sandshark Finisher to accurately describe the unlock conditions.
