General Notes[edit]

  • Total cost calculations may not be perfect, if you think I've made an error, feel free to ping me on Discord or in GW2. My contacts can be found on User:Metallis
  • If you feel your experience vastly differed from any of my tips, please let me know your recommendations!
  • Note that the sections are collapsed, you have to manually show them, because this page starts to resemble LongCharrTM with everything expanded.

PoF Tips[edit]

  • For the Wishes, you may take 9 Mystic Coins to the well on a single character and transfer the subsequent items through your Bank or Shared Inventory Slots, as the opening of the object is what triggers the collection to update.
  • Some of the Riddle items can be accessed with partial or no use of the Jackal, but some of them require full use of it. The Mesmer and Thief riddles are both in the Deadhouse, in separate chests. The mesmer riddle is in the second room, hidden behind a pillar, the thief riddle is in the last room.
  • Several of the Mordant weapons have alternate weapons you can buy on the Trading Post to complete, rather than craft.
  • The threat reports are visible on all characters but can only be purchased by a character of the specific class.
  • Crystal Oasis is recommended for map completion as it has mostly flat "beetle-able" terrain and the few number of hearts.
  • The race event at Vehtendi Academy is recommended because it "respawns" every 20 minutes, whereas others are up to twice as long between.
  • If you have multiple characters parked in the same map, you can quickly switch and get multiple characters credit from a single Caffeinated Skritt's final loot bag, as the credit isn't awarded on kill.
  • The total cost of all 9 collections (excluding Mordant weapons crafting) is:

EoD Tips[edit]

  • Focus on the account-wide Badges near the end, as you can put the chunks of pure jade and chunks of resin you get from the respective items that require harvesting these nodes. It likely won't net you all you need, but it will probably give you at least 1 freebie.
  • One item from each collection (completing the DE meta or story) mentions playing as the new elite spec, but it only requires playing as the class.
  • The "kill enemy type in map" items seem to require killing them as the specified class, despite not mentioning it. I have not yet personally confirmed this.
  • Total costs of all 9 collections (excluding single items):
