The Sorrowful Sound is an area located within Bloodtide Coast. This wide body of water connects the Sea of Sorrows to the northern half of the zone. Beneath the water is a peaceful quaggan village whose denizens are often captured and used by the nearby Inquest for various experiments.
| The Sorrowful Sound was partially frozen over when a large force of Icebrood, led by Frost Legion Tribune Splitwall, invaded 1333 AE. They were repelled by the Pact Commander, Imperators Crecia Stoneglow, Malice Swordshadow, Rox and their allies. |

- A Mastery Insight located in this area can be seen as an icon in the world map. However, this insight does not currently exist as an interactable object in game world because it is tied to The Icebrood Saga Episode 5: Champions; it can only be communed with inside the Dragon Response Mission: Bloodtide Coast.
