Dialogue[edit]
What do you want? At this rate, these little hump backs are never going to learn how to raise livestock.
- (If holding a Wild Young Crab)
- What do you want me to do with this crab?
- Hey, thanks! We'll just keep this one in the pen for now.
- It looks like you could use an extra hand.
- You're telling me? I've been at this non-stop. Domesticating a crab is easier than I expected, but I had no idea these skale could be so vicious!
- You're telling me you can't deal with a few skale?
- Hey, I've been driving wolves off Diessa Plateau for years! But how do I stop a skale from swallowing a crab in one bite?
- We'll have to cull their numbers. Is there any way we can get more crabs?
- We can tame wild young crabs. Just grab one and bring it back. Try stomping on their holes if you can't find any.
- I suppose you'll want me to feed them too?
- Sure, I have some feed. But uh, it's for cows. The crabs eat it, but its[sic] much better to take them out to pasture.
- Isn't a pasture also for a cow?
- Hey, a beach is pretty much a pasture for crabs! There's a little blubber ball over there taking them out to graze.
- I don't see him. Where is he?
- Can I ask you a different question?
- OK, I'll go see if he needs any help.
- For cows? What are you, some sort of cattle rancher? (Same as "That's right. I..." below)
- OK, I'll give them some feed.
- Who is Anroov? (Same as "East of here there's..." above)
- I think I see one. I'll go catch it!
- Diessa Plateau? You're a long way from home.
- That's right. I came all the way from Dawnright Estate. Finest cattle ranch in Tyria.
- So why are you way out here helping quaggans? (Same as "Money, of course. Some..." above)
- Maybe you should go back to cattle. It looks pretty bleak around here. (Same as "What do you want..." above)
- That's amazing, but I have to get going.
- Beats me. Good luck.
- Can I ask you a different question?
- Okay, I'll get right on it.
- What exactly are you doing here?
- Isn't it obvious? I'm teaching these quaggans how to run a crab ranch.
- No, no. I mean why are YOU, a Charr, helping these quaggans?
- Money, of course. Some bookworms from the Durmand Priory hired me to teach these quaggans how to raise livestock.
- And why, exactly, would these quaggans want to raise livestock?
- They're hungry! And apparently whatever they normally eat, they can't eat it any more. New predators or something.
- So why are you helping them? (Same as "Money, of course. Some..." below)
- It doesn't look like it's going very well here. (Same as "You're telling me? I've..." above)
- Can I ask you a different question?
- Can I ask you a different question?
- Why would the quaggans need to have a crab ranch? (Same as "They're hungry! And apparently..." above)
- That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
- Nothing. Sorry to bother you.
Thanks for your help. I think you've done just about everything you can do here.
- Any chance of a reward?
- I'd still like to help out.
- You'd better not. These little jelly-bellies need to learn to do this on their own now.
- Try not to be too hard on them.
- Always glad to help a quaggan in need.
