Looking Back is a Arborstone achievement available to Characters who have completed the End of Dragons story. It can be started by speaking to Marjory Delaqua on the ground floor of Arborstone on a character who has completed the story.

In Arborstone[edit]
- Marjory Delaqua: Commander! Don't you look rested. I see the lack of Elder Dragon threats is treating you well.
- Marjory Delaqua: I've been thinking. Kas is pretty wrapped up with organizing Jennah and the empress's meeting...
- Marjory Delaqua: Thought I'd take a little bit of...me time. For once.
- Marjory Delaqua: Belinda, she...she told me a thousand stories about our family. Here. Where they lived, what they did.
- Marjory Delaqua: I'd like to see Cantha through her eyes. Starting with Old Kaineng; the Sumalees' ancestral home. Our family.
- Marjory Delaqua: ...And Taimi said a little meditation and personal reflection would be "healthy."
- I'll meet you in New Kaineng, Commander. Thank you for tagging along. I'd ask Kas, but I don't want to steal her spotlight. Not when she's doing so well.
Of course, Jory. I'll see you there.
In Old Kaineng[edit]
- They lived here, a long time ago.
Your family?
- The Sumalees, yes. Long before the Zhaitan Disaster. Belinda said that they were traders... Good ones, too. They worked with the Luxons to establish trade routes all throughout Cantha.
- That's fascinating. Where would Cantha be without that effort?
At Cobble Ward[edit]
- I can't imagine growing up in Cantha. It's so different from Kryta, but... there's also something very comforting about being here. Serene. If my family had never left, who knows where we'd be today.
- Ever see yourself moving here?
- O-oh! I couldn't... We couldn't. Kas is just starting her days as a Krytan ambassador, our families are back in Divinity's Reach... I... I don't know.
- Something to think about.
At the Jade Monument[edit]
- Belinda would have loved learning about Soo-Won... She would have loved ALL of this. I can just imagine her face, walking through the streets of New Kaineng... Seeing all the jade tech. Taking it in.
- I couldn't blame her—it's a pretty amazing sight.
- Dad gave her one of our great-great-great-great-nan's journals. Jagmi. She was only five when they made the trip over to Kryta. Belinda read it over and over again... She could recite every page.
- Oh yeah? Did you ever read it?
- Belinda read it to me. Stories about how the city stretched for miles, packed in tight with millions of people from all over. To think that all of that is... gone, and to see what it became.
- The world has suffered enough.
After four sites have been visited[edit]
- Marjory Delaqua: I didn't really care about this stuff when we were kids—Cantha, our family history. It didn't feel relevant.
- Marjory Delaqua: Belinda did. Dug up every story she could. Asked every question. Annoyed the hell out of Mireille.
- Marjory Delaqua: If she knew we were here now... She'd punch a hole through a wall!
- Marjory Delaqua: I loved her stories, but I never really showed her that. Not enough, at least.
- Marjory Delaqua: Next stop: Shing Jea. The Sumalees started their new lives there-after Kaineng.
At Haiju Docks[edit]
- Lady Kasmeer Meade: Commander, Jory! I thought you were on the grand tour?
- Marjory Delaqua: We are. Just wanted to stop by and say hello.
- Lady Kasmeer Meade: Hello, fiancée.
- Marjory Delaqua: Actually, I...Can I pick your brain about something, Kas?
- Marjory Delaqua: How hard do you think it would be to get a construction permit? Here in Cantha?
- Lady Kasmeer Meade: Not too difficult, unless you're planning on building a golem factory. Joon might pull some strings to stop you.
- Marjory Delaqua: A gravesite... No, a memorial. For Belinda.
- Lady Kasmeer Meade: That would be...lovely. Did you have a spot in mind?
- Marjory Delaqua: Not yet. It won't be big. Just...quiet. Somewhere peaceful.
- Lady Kasmeer Meade: I'll see if the Minister of Urban Planning has an opening.
- Marjory Delaqua: Thanks, Kas. I guess we'll start the "grand tour" of Shing Jea.
At the Shing Jea Monastery[edit]
- Our family moved to Shing Jea to serve in the emperor's court, actually. Their relation to the Luxons made them...appealing liaisons. That was right around the time the Ministry of Purity formed.
- Really?
- You can probably imagine how well that went. They didn't see eye to eye with the Purists.
- Neither would I.
At the Jade Memorial[edit]
- The Affliction ran through the countryside like a beast. Barreling and rampant... It killed everyone in sight. Belinda said that half the living Sumalees dies. Half of them. Can you imagine?
- It's unimaginable.
At the Zen Daijun shrines[edit]
- There's something beautiful about these shrines, but they're also incredibly...lonely. I wonder where our family is buried in Cantha. Belinda's buried in an overcrowded cemetery. Next to Grandma.
- She's definitely not lonely.
- Not with every other Delaqua buried within a ten-foot radius, absolutely not...
- Hang in there, Jory.
- I'm fine, I'm just thinking of the funeral. I don't remember most of it, I...
- You don't have to feel bad. It was a really hard day.
- It was. Mom was already sick by then, we were worried she wouldn't make it. When she found out, when Dad told her... I couldn't stay in the room. I could hear her crying the whole way to the bar.
- How is she doing now?
- Better. She gets to spend a lot of time with Phillip, which helps... But it's never been the same. Not entirely. It always feels like there's something missing. A smell I can't remember.
- Let's pause for a moment, take in the sights. It's beautiful here.
After eight sites have been visited[edit]
- Marjory Delaqua: When Belinda and I turned seven, Mom gave each of us a wooden duck that was used in their wedding.
- Marjory Delaqua: Belinda's was green and mine was blue. Took them with us everywhere.
- Marjory Delaqua: I treated mine like a toy. Belinda carried hers around like a precious family heirloom...which it was.
- Marjory Delaqua: I lost mine visiting family in Shaemoor. I was heartbroken.
- Marjory Delaqua: Belinda got annoyed whenever I cried, so she painted hers blue and gave it to me instead. Mom was livid...
- Marjory Delaqua: Apparently the ducks were made in a small Luxon village near the Jade Sea. I think I'll go there next.
At the Outer Terrace[edit]
- When the Sumalees left the court, they moved to a small Luxon village near the Jade Sea not too far from here... Isn't is[sic] beautiful? Chaotic, in it's[sic] own way. But beautiful.
- This place...it's been through so much.
- It kind of represents all of Cantha's struggles, doesn't it? The Ministry of Purity, Shiro, the death of Soo-Won... They've endured so much, and yet I still hear singing. I see children playing.
- All things heal with time.
- If you would've said that to me two...three years ago, I would've laughed and poured another drink.
- And we would still be there, with a whole bunch of bread to cut the ale.
At the Harvest Temple[edit]
- The Harvest Temple. Everything that happened here, from Shiro to Soo-Won... Belinda would throw one hell of a fit if she had any idea. Our names will go down in history, and she...
- She would be proud of you.
- Proud, but also pretty jealous. Every time I feel a gust of wind, I imagine it's her...screaming from the Mists.
- Marjory Delaqua, do you know where you're standing?
- Dad used to tell us bedtime stories about the Jade Wind to scare us. Something about "if you do bad in school, you could end up a malicious tyrant like Shiro and end the world."
- That seems reasonable.
- Oh, Belinda took him VERY seriously. Cursed Shiro's name like a Krytan should curse Burntfur's. Dad thought it was cute, Mom was a little more superstitious.
- Little Belinda had spunk.
At the Juno Hatchery[edit]
- Belinda told me when the Ministry of Purity continued its rise to power, one of the Luxon families offered to smuggle them out of the country.
- Is that how they got here, then?
- It is. The descendants of those Luxons still live in Kryta today, even though I don't know their identities... We lost contact with our homeland, but they... They lost everything too.
- I wonder if they'll return, now that the borders are open.
- I don't know about that. How could they, after all the Ministry of Purity did? How could you trust this place?
- You're right. Though, I'm sure they're curious.
After eleven sites have been visited[edit]
- Marjory Delaqua: After everything that happened here...the Jade Sea is actually pretty peaceful.
- Marjory Delaqua: It's quiet. It's...perfect.
At Silent Surf[edit]
- Everything is ready to go. I'm...okay. I'm okay.
- I'm here with you. Every step of the way. (Takes you to the Laying to Rest instance.)

Laying to Rest[edit]
The final step of this collection is part of the above instance that you are transported to after speaking to Marjory at Silent Surf.
After completing the collection[edit]

Notes[edit]
- Once this achievement is complete Marjory's sisters Mireille Delaqua and Elyse Delaqua appear in Arborstone and can be spoken to.
Trivia[edit]
- Marjory's ancestors are the Sumalees, a tribute to Marjory's voice actress Sumalee Montano.
