Elyse Delaqua is one of Marjory Delaqua's sisters. She has a young son named Phillip Delaqua whom she is raising as an only parent after divorcing her husband Claude. Elyse and Mireille Delaqua traveled to Cantha to support Marjory who lay the greatsword containing their late sister Belinda Delaqua's soul to rest in Silent Surf.

Us too. When Kas asked us to come over, I was overjoyed. It's been a year since Bunny and I last spoke, I... I was worried I had said something wrong. Done something.

Did something happen between you two?

When Belinda died, I wanted her to quit. I want her to stop hunting down dragons and chasing criminals... I didn't want to lose her, but... She wasn't in a place to listen back then.

Well, it sounds like now is a good time to reconnect.

Ha! I knew you'd ask that one. Bunny is Marjory and Puppy is... was Belinda. When Jory was a little girl, she was the sweetest, quietest little thing. She reminded me of a baby rabbit, so...

And Belinda was Puppy?

And Belinda was Puppy. Belinda was an... active child. Bounced off the walls, drove Dad to tears. She was jealous when I started calling Jory Bunny, so... we have Puppy!

I'd like to ask a little more about Marjory.

Why haven't we met before?

Bunny's been so busy... I have too, you know. Got a little one back at home. Phillip. He just turned eight!

Oh! Are you married?

I...I was. Phillip's father is gone. It's just me and the little guy, but we're making it work! And now our family is getting even bigger with Kas joining the Delaqua crew.

Oh, her? Please, Mimi is as soft as a kitten. Just comes across a little... well, cross. Ever since Mom got sick, she became the Delaqua matriarch.

Sick? Is she okay?

Mama? Oh, she's doing okay. She got sick right before Belinda passed, which didn't help... Mireille took over the shop for a while so Dad could focus on Mom. They live in Rurikton.

Are you all close?

Very! Mireille and Mom are like glue; mirror images of each other, really. Dad's a big softy, once you get to know him... And they just adore Phillip. He's staying with Grandma and Grandpa right now.
