Trick. Spin around, reflecting projectiles and throwing daggers that cripple and bleed nearby foes. You can move while spinning.

  • Provides the Dagger Storm effect.
  • Unaffected by quickness or slow.
  • Fires up to 8 daggers, at a rate of about one per 0.34 seconds.
    • The number of daggers fired is inversely related to the distance between the foes and the thief, with one dagger fired if all foes are at maximum range, and 8 fired if the thief is standing directly on top of a foe.
    • Each dagger deals the listed damage.
    • Each dagger bounces once and hits an additional nearby foe.
  • Targets are selected randomly. However:
    • Nearby enemies are more likely to be selected than further-away enemies.
    • The skill will attempt to attack as many different targets as possible.

  • This skill no longer grants the thief stability.
August 28, 2018
  • This skill now grants evade while casting in addition to its other effects. Its cooldown has been increased to 90 seconds.
May 08, 2018
  • The cooldown of this skill is no longer split between game modes and will now use the lower 60-second cooldown in all modes.

  • Reduced the cooldown from 90 seconds to 60 seconds in PvP and WvW.
August 08, 2017 Path of Fire pre-patch:
  • Reduced the duration from 8 seconds to 4 seconds, but doubled the number of daggers thrown.
  • Now gives 1 stack of stability for 6 seconds on activation instead of pulsing stacks.
  • This skill now increases movement speed by 100% while activated.
  • Changed the system that limited hits on the same target to be more consistent for multiple thieves using the skill at the same time.

  • This skill can no longer be affected by quickness or slow.

  • This ability is now classified as a trick.

  • This skill now grants 3 stacks of stability every 3 seconds, with a 3-second duration.
