This page shows several examples using my skill infobox proposal. See also:


Some things that could change:
  • Merging Skill type and Activation type
  • Adding Target area (probably merged with the ones above)
  • Pet skills profession might not show ranger
  • Left column bold instead of the right one, or none at all
Some things that I already changed (and can be reverted):
  • Icon-based skill sequence
  • Skill slot line removed for Weapon skills and Environmental weapon skills (there are lines about the weapons themselves that describe this well enough)


Position on skill bar[edit]

Weapon skill[edit]

Regular attack skill[edit]

Steal an enemy's health to heal yourself.

Dual skill[edit]

Pistol whip an enemy, dazing them, then strike multiple times with your sword.

Special skill type[edit]

Inscribe area with a reaper's mark that inflicts Vulnerability and Bleeding.

  • Target area could be added.

Healing skill[edit]

Heal yourself and your pet.

Utility skill[edit]

Summon 3 bone minions.

Elite skill[edit]

Turn yourself into a cloud of plague. Any enemies you touch are contaminated with multiple conditions.

Special mechanics[edit]

Attuned skill[edit]

Form a vapor blade that strikes all enemies along its line.

  • Target area could be added.

Chain attack[edit]

Slash your foe and cause them to bleed.

Profession specific ability[edit]

Burst attack[edit]

Unleash all of your adrenaline in a massive attack.

Death Shroud skill[edit]

Make an enemy feel fear.

Single special skill[edit]

Enter your death shroud, replacing your skills and using your life force as health. When death shroud ends, you return to your original location.

Special skill type[edit]

Passive: Every fifth attack causes burning.
Active: Makes nearby allies' next attacks cause burning.

Hold to rapidly shoot arrows at your foe.

Heal self.
Attuned to Fire: Gain Might.
Attuned to Air: Gain Swiftness.
Attuned to Water: Gain Regeneration.
Attuned to Earth: Gain Protection.

Scatter up to 3 mines that cripple and bleed enemies.

Pet skill[edit]

Lunge at an enemy and make them bleed.
