Pig Iron Quarry

Pig Iron Quarry is a jumping puzzle located in the southeastern part of Fireheart Rise in Pig Iron Mine.

Getting there

Travel to Severed Breach Waypoint southwest of Pig Iron Mine. From there, swim north to the pair of piers on Pig Iron Mine island. Follow the dock to the right to the start of the wood scaffolding. This can also be reached by swimming south from Pig Iron Waypoint.

Firstly, find your way to the top platform of Pig Iron Mine. There should be a friendly Grawl Priest, if you're in the right place. There is a chest down a short flight of stairs to the north. Turn around and go along the western side of the central building until you find the transport chain. Jump the platforms southwards to the other side, be wary as the screen may shake as you do this. Ignore the chains holding the platforms as they can be jumped through. Once you're there, jump onto the platform in front of you and follow the path up. On the top platform, jump across to the one next to it and kill the Veteran Flame Legion Lava Shaman. His attacks will launch you down the mountain, so be careful. You can anticipate his attacks by noting when he crouches down. Open the Grand Chest and jump down the mountain. Also, the platform's rail may prevent you from being pushed off. It may be possible to kill the Veteran with ranged attacks before jumping to the last wooden platform, so his launch will not knock you off the rock, requiring you to repeat the long sequence of jumps. This is probably fairly difficult, though, because the Shaman heals himself after each launch attack.

Notes

The achievement is obtained by walking toward the wooden platform across from the chest, not at the chest itself.

Since the Shaman can easily knock you off the mountain, grab the chest before the fight if you can.
