Octovines are Mordrem that are attacking Tarir, the Forgotten City. Each octovine has a slime protection that makes it immune to damage until it is removed. This is a part of the Battle in Tarir meta event.

- Vulnerable to damage when all slime stacks have been removed. Regains all slime stacks after a period of time.

15 Covered in Slime — The octovine is covered in slime that makes it immune to conditions and damage. A concentrated dose of herbicide may prove useful. (northgate)- 15 Covered in Slime — The octovine is covered in slime that makes it immune to conditions and damage. Explosions may remove its immunity. (eastgate)
- 15 Covered in Slime — The octovine is covered in slime that makes it immune to conditions and damage. A large explosion may remove the slime. (southgate)
- 15 Covered in Slime — The octovine is covered in slime that makes it immune to conditions and damage. Poison spores may counteract the slime (westgate)
