These are the expected rewards for a level 0 player. Higher level players receive dynamically adjusted rewards.

Walkthrough[edit]

The fight with Drakkar is divided into several phases based on Drakkar's health. In each phase, Drakkar's skills evolve, gaining additional effects, occuring faster, or doing more damage. Drakkar's skills are all scripted to occur in a specific order.

Phase 1 - 100-80% health

The first phase occurs in the first chamber, and is the slowest phase due to the lack of a burn portion.

  • Drakkar will emerge from the ice, fearing players (dodgeable) when doing so.
  • Drakkar will roar and throw icy rocks around the room.
  • Drakkar will then do stomp attacks, which can be jumped over.
  • Drakkar will make a large cone-shaped AoE breath attack that Chilled.png Chills and freeze the ground.
  • Drakkar will roar then jump to perform a large AoE that covers the entire chamber, pulsing damage and Chilled.png Chilled freezing progressively the whole room apart the area under it.
  • Drakkar will then submerge itself into the ice, its shadow will show where it will pop up next.
Phase 1 intermission

When hitting 80% health, Drakkar will become invulnerable and submerge into the ice. Jhavi will have scripted lines, and Fallen, Aberrant, and Svanir mobs will spawn (in waves of that order). When the last wave is killed, three elites will appear (one of each faction). Upon killing the elites, Jhavi will finish channeling her skill and open up another tunnel - make your way down the new tunnel to continue the fight.

Phase 2 - 80-60% health

This phase begins upon entering the second chamber. Similar to the first phase, but Drakkar will gain two additional skills to his cycle:

  • Drakkar will emerge from the ice, fearing players (dodgeable) when doing so.
  • Drakkar will roar and throw icy rocks around the room.
  • Drakkar will then do stomp attacks, which can be jumped over.
  • Drakkar will make a large cone-shaped AoE breath attack that Chilled.png Chills and freeze the ground.
  • Drakkar will roar then jump to perform a large AoE that covers the entire chamber, pulsing damage and Chilled.png Chilled freezing progressively the whole room apart the area under it.
  • Drakkar will roar, pushing players away from him, while spitting icy rocks around the room.
  • Drakkar will lower his head, gain a red hue, and summon ice tornadoes rotating counter-clockwise that deal frequent damage throughout the chamber. There will also be a green AoE that appears where giant ice orbs will fall; being on the green circles will provide a buff that increases player damage. During this skill, Drakkar takes more damage, making it the best point to burn Drakkar's health down.
  • Drakkar will then submerge itself into the ice, its shadow will show where it will pop up next.

In addition, there is a barrier of icy flames around the arena, touching this will cause damage over time.

Phase 2 intermission (60%)

Upon reaching 60% health, regardless of position ins his skill cycle, Drakkar will go invulnerable and submerge into the ice. The room will gain a heavy red hue and a blizzard will occur to obscure vision, and Drakkar will emerge from the ground to attack Jhavi who will create a raven barrier around herself. Players must attack Drakkar's claws with crowd control attacks (the essence manipulation skills are best to use here, stacks obtainable during the pre-event); the only essence manipulation skill available in this phase is

Spirit Nova.png

 Spirit Nova.

After breaking the defiance bar, veteran and elite Fallen mobs will slowly spawn and attack Jhavi's barrier. During this time, the red-colored raven gate can be activated; at least one player must have Raven's Flight to activate the gate. Beyond the gate is a Champion Fallen Pineshade which must be killed before Jhavi's barrier is destroyed to continue the fight. Entering a gate applies the Miscellaneous effect.png Spiritual Binding effect for 8 minutes.

Entering Jhavi's barrier will grant players with Raven's Warmth. Losing this barrier will result in the player taking damage from the blizzard in the room. Drakkar also has two attacks during this phase:

  • Drakkar will appear out of the ground, sending a shockwave from its emergence, and launching players into the air if they were at where Drakkar emerged.
  • Drakkar will appear from the walls, chomping at anyone nearby.

Furthermore, a Corrupted Seer can spawn, which can do heavy AoE on top of Jhavi and the players.

Phase 3 - 60-40% health

Similar to phase two, but Drakkar's skills evolve. In order:

  • Fear from Drakkar's emergence lasts longer.
  • More icy rocks spawn upon his roar.
  • Drakkar's stomps occur a little faster.
  • The cone attack launches players further. [verification requested]
  • The charge up for covering the room in Chilled.png Chilled is shorter.
  • The pushback from the roar is longer.
  • Drakkar's hue turns to green, the number of tornadoes increase, and the number of green circles double (2).

In addition, Fallen enemies will begin appearing to harass the players.

Phase 3 intermission (40%)

Similar to the previous intermission, Drakkar will submerge himself at 40% health, and re-emerge from the floor to attack Jhavi. Instead of the room coloring red, it instead colors green, and the essence usable by players is

Night Terror.png

Night Terror. Similarly, instead of Fallen foes, Aberrant foes spawn, and beyond the gate players must kill a Champion Boneskinner.

Phase 4 - 40-20% health

Similar to phase three, Drakkar's skills evolve further in the same manner. The main difference is the last skill, where Drakkar's hue turns blue, and the green circles doubles once more to 4. This time, Fallen and Aberrant foes will appear.

Phase 4 intermission (20%)

Similar to the previous intermissions, Drakkar will submerge himself at 20% health, and re-emerge from the floor to attack Jhavi. Players must again use crowd control on his claws (

Shattered Psyche.png

Shattered Psyche is the only essence manipulation available), then move through a raven gate to kill a Champion Svanir Tyrant before mobs destroy Jhavi's barrier. While the Champion Svanir Tyrant is alive, Svanir enemies will appear in the blue-tainted area.

Phase 5 - 20-0% health

Drakkar's skills evolve once more, becoming faster, stronger, and longer lasting with more AoE effects, and all three of Aberrant, Fallen, and Svanir enemies will spawn across the chamber to harass players.

Dialogue[edit]

Event start
Jhavi Jorasdottir: DRAKKAR! I am Jhavi! Blood of Svanir, a daughter of Jora! You know why I've come, yet you cower in the ice!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Face me, and let us finish what you started!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: There you are! All right, everyone—get ready!
At Still Waters Speaking
One of the following:
Kodan Guard: Jhavi has called for any willing warriors to join her in the fight against Drakkar.
Kodan Guard: Jhavi has gone to challenge Drakkar!
Kodan Guard: Follow the path out of the village to find her. Koda guide you to victory. You will need all the help you can get.
Randomly when Drakkar submerges back into the ice
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Damn it! It's gone in the ice. Stay on your guard!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's in the walls! Watch where it's going!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: You think you can get away from us? You'll have to come out sometime!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Watch it! Could come out anywhere!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Oh no you don't!
At 80% health
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's gone further inside. We need to get after it.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Watch my back! I'll rip down this whole cavern if I have to.
As "Defeat Drakkar's Servants" bar appears
Jhavi Jorasdottir: I'll get us through that ice—just need a little more time. (50% left)
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Almost got it! Keep them busy just a little longer! (25% left)
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Rrrrah! (completed)
Jhavi Jorasdottir: There, see? Easy.
Entering second chamber
One of the following:
Jormag: Drakkar is only a vessel of my voice. An innocent. Svanir asked for power, and I freely gave it to him.
Jormag: Why do you continue to pursue Drakkar? You did it. You've won. You are free to leave.
Jormag: Killing Drakkar is not the answer. It acts out of fear, a child hunted by monsters.
Jormag: Jhavi will not listen to reason. I have never in the history of this world given something to one who did not ask.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Get out of our heads, dragon! Come on. We're close.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Here. Drakkar! Show yourself! You can't run forever!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Look out!
At 60% health
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's gonna try to surprise us again!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Whoa!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Hnng! The claws! Go for the claws!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's stealing magic from the lost Spirits!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Ox. Eagle. Wolverine. I feel their power.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: The gate's open! Now get in there and cut off the source! (repeated while champion is alive)
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Open the Raven gate and destroy whatever's channeling the lost Spirits' magic! (repeated while champion is alive)
One of the following:
Jormag: Let me help you...
Jormag: Close your eyes.
Jormag: Quiet...
Jormag: Fighting so hard...
Jormag: I can protect you.
At 40% health
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's gonna try to surprise us again!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Whoa!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Need some help here!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: The magic's coming from inside that Raven gate! Get in there and cut off Drakkar before it's too late!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: The gate's open! Now get in there and cut off the source! (repeated while champion is alive)
One of the following:
Jormag: Come closer...
Jormag: Fighting so hard...
Jormag: Be still.
Jormag: Let me help you.
Jormag: You need me.
At 20% health
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's gonna try to surprise us again!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: Spirits! Look out!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: There, that's all of 'em!
Jhavi Jorasdottir: This is it! Everyone, attack! (when champion is killed)
One of the following:
Jormag: Be still.
Jormag: You need me.
Jormag: Close your eyes.
Jormag: Let me help you.
Jormag: Fighting so hard...
Event success
Jhavi Jorasdottir: That was a legendary hunt. Thank you, all of you.
If The Hunt Begins is active, and bar isn't filled:
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's on the run. Good. All you need to do now is smash those idols of Jormag on the surface.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: We'll cut it off from its master's power—enough to force it from the lake into the mountains. Good hunting.
If The Hunt Begins is active, and bar is filled:
Jhavi Jorasdottir: It's on the run now. Cloudseeker and I will handle things up there—you should head to the cave. Good luck.
Otherwise:
Jhavi Jorasdottir: I doubt it's gone for good. Jormag's power is strong here. But we've bought ourselves time. Quieted the whispers.
Jhavi Jorasdottir: And I got to remind Jormag that my family's legend yet lives. Rest up. This fight's not over.
Event fail
Jhavi Jorasdottir: They're too strong for us. Everyone, fall back! Get out of here!
One of the following:
Jormag: Kill her ...
Jormag: Kill them...
(A whisper effect appears at the edges of the screen and all other players become temporarily targetable.)
