Time-gated achievements

This page is an incomplete list of achievements that at some point can't be progressed to their next step until either a daily server reset or some other delay mechanic. They are categorized by type and divided by map.

Repetition

• Ember Bay
  • Hungry Hal
    • 4 days minimum, as there only appear to be 14 Ember Apple trees and they respawn daily.
      • This is a character-based time-gate and so can be circumvented by using multiple characters.
  • The Friendly Ghost
    • 7 days minimum, as only 1 Ship Debris can be handed in per day.
• Lake Doric
  • Tree-Hugger Hugger
    • 4 days minimum, as you can only feed him once per day.
• Siren's Landing
  • Roll for Greed
    • 5-10 days depending on whether you pay for a second chest each day.
• Domain of Istan
  • Not Thirsty
    • Minimum 4 repetitions, assuming you get credit for at least 6-7 per event
• Domain of Kourna
  • Debbie's Cakes
    • 4 days minimum, as you can only get 3 cakes per day.
      • This is a character-based time-gate and so can be circumvented by using multiple characters.
  • Taking All Their Secrets
    • 10 repetitions
• Thunderhead Peaks
  • No One Was Using It Anyway
    • 6 days minimum, as a maximum of 9 chests are obtainable in any given day.
  • Grand Prize
    • 10 days minimum, as it can only be completed once daily.
• Dragonfall
  • The Battle of Dragonfall
    • 25 repetitions
• Grothmar Valley
  • Grothmar Tribune
    • 15 repetitions, 57 days minimum starting with a day where the Daily Icebrood Saga is Grothmar Valley. Includes 3 days of forced downtime before each subsequent completion for the daily to cycle back to Grothmar Valley.

    • 15 repetitions
• Drizzlewood Coast

    • 10 repetitions

Collections

• Queensdale
  • Eldvin Monastery Brew of the Month Club
    • Requires purchase of Eldvin Monastery Brew of the Month Membership and visiting a major city each month for a year.
• Draconis Mons
  • A Henge Away from Home
    • 16-20 days total, depending on whether you want to buy the extra Druid Runestone Fragment from the Unbound Magic vendor.
      • A chain, beginning with The Druid Stone (5 fragments, 1-2 days) which unlocks Awakening the Druid Stone (15 fragments, another 3-4 days) which unlocks Sprouting the Druid Stone (25 fragments, another 5-7 days) which finally unlocks A Henge Away from Home.
• Domain of Istan
  • Brandstone Research
    • Requires 7 days, as only 1 research step can be done per day.
• Sandswept Isles
  • Rebooting IG-6417
    • Requires 7 days, as only 1 module can be handed in per day.
• Drizzlewood Coast
  • Tengu Weapon Etchings
    • Up to 3 Sheet of Handmade Tengu Etching Paper per day, minimum of 5 days.
• Tangled Depths
  • Zinn's Prize Student
    • Requires 12 days, as only 1 item can be purchased per day. Collection is needed for Astralaria I: The Device collection.

Festivals

The annual meta achievement for each festival can only be completed once a year, for a total of twenty years to get all the associated achievement points.

Other

• Multiple Maps
  • Master Diver
    • Barring some lucky drops, and an account one-off, Ornate Rusted Keys are 1 per day via Blood in the Water. Once you've completed the Master Diver achievement, it is not available to repeat until after reset.
• Fields of Ruin
  • Speedy Reader
    • All books have to be interacted with (in any order) before the daily Server reset.
  • Cleaning Up the Neighborhood
    • All Separatist Propaganda posters have to be interacted with before the daily Server reset.
• Eye of the North
  • Confer with Bangar
    • There was originally a random time-gate, but since at least November 17, 2020, with the release of Icebrood Saga: Champions: Chapter 1: Truce, one can repeatedly instance out and back into EotN to complete the achievement quickly.

Skyscale

The following collections do not rely on a daily reset, but rather the Waiting for Gorrik debuff to expire before you can begin.
