To start, complete the Mysterious Journal collection. Upon completion of that achievement, speak with Goro Cleverclaws in Drizzlewood Coast: he's northwest of Point of interest (map icon).png Petraj's Rest, on a ledge above Breakroot Basin. This completes the initial Bird Whisperer requirement.

Afterwards, he'll appear in the Eye of the North in front of a small tent, just east of Waypoint (map icon).png Eye of the North Waypoint.

Next, collect the etchings for each weapon. First, speak with Goro in the Eye of the North to purchase up to 3 Sheet of Handmade Tengu Etching Paper per day. With at least 1 sheet of that paper in your inventory, find a Curious Carving in Drizzlewood Coast. They are generally high up on cliffs; see below for a full list with locations, or view the map at the top of this page. Once you have located the carving for the weapon that you want, interact with the carving to take an etching for that weapon. Each weapon corresponds to a different Curious Carving on the map. After the etching is copied, the achievement will be progressed.
