Terra Combusta is an area in Blazeridge Steppes. A contingent of Blood Legion soldiers at Brokentooth Maw have been cut out by the Brand, and due to a lack of supply, they rely on the large group of Plains Wurms to the north for food. Some of them, due to long exposure to the Brand, has begun to go mad.

Ambient dialogue[edit]
- At Brokentooth Maw
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): This place is like a sealed drum. No one gets in, no one gets out, and there's always lots of noise.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): I'll beat you like a drum if you don't stop griping.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): Ever been down to Ranik Roadcamp? They've got fish to eat.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): If you can catch them.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): They're also close enough to the Ebon Vanguard camp to spit on the humans.
- Blood Legion Soldier (3): I wouldn't know. I came to the Maw straight out of Temperus Point, and I've been here ever since.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): Same here. To me, this is the only charr camp, and those crystal beggars are the only enemy.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): What else do we have to do to claim victory here, boss?
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): Once we fight off the dragon's beasts, then it's the ogres, ghosts, and humans.
- Blood Legion Soldier (3): And after that, it's the Flame Legion. You see where I'm going with this?
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): We're needed here.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): End of story.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): How long have we been here?
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): Always. We were born here. We buried our parents and friends here. Then we died here.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): Some of us look pretty healthy for corpses.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): We are dead, all dead and damned to fight here forever.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): What's it called when two armies kill each other until one side has nothing left?
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): It's called attrition, scab-brain.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): Attrition? That's not grand enough. I think it should be a "Brokentooth Deadlock" or a "Maw Meat-Grinder."
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): Call it what you will, it's attrition.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): This is hopeless. We should abandon this place and get back to our Legion.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): You'll die a messy death if the Legionnaire hears you talking like that.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): We're all dead anyway. I'd rather be dead than bottled up in here.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): Death is just another name for desertion. Show some discipline.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): They ought to send us more cannons. We have a perfect shot from here.
- Blood Legion Soldier (2): If they could send more cannons, they’d send reinforcements.
- Blood Legion Soldier (3): And decent food.
- Blood Legion Soldier (1): We should build ourselves a cannon and shoot you two at the enemy.
