Raptor (race)

This article is about the race. For other uses, see Raptor (disambiguation). Raptors are common avian saurians. Originally they were unique to the Tarnished Coast and Woodland Cascades but over the past 250 years they have spread across Tyria, being seen from Heart of Maguuma to Ascalon. They are the only saurians in Central Tyria to have been tamed by any civilization—namely the ogres.

- While raptors are saurians in lore, mechanically they are their own species due to raptors existing before other saurians were added to the game.
- Pocket Raptors do not count as raptors for progressing the Raptor Slayer achievement.
