Trader's Forum is a section of Lion's Arch with the Mystic Forge and contains (like the name suggest) many trade services. While these services were spread around the city after its destruction, they have returned here after its rebuilt. Trader's Forum is located north of the Grand Piazza. A portal to the north allows travel to Gendarran Fields.

Ambient dialogue[edit]

For previous dialogue, see Trader's Forum/historical#Ambient dialogue.

Girl: Let's play investigators! I wanna be Kasmeer.
Boy: Okay. I'll be Marjory.
Girl: (giggle) If you're Marjory, you gotta let me give you a kiss.
Boy: (yelp)
Girl: (giggle) Come back!
Citizen (1): I'm looking for a guide to take me to Nebo Terrace.
Lionguard: That's centaur country. Good luck.
Citizen (2): She's right. Everyone there wants to come here, and nobody from there wants to go back.
Lionguard: Listen. Shh... Did you hear...? Ah, never mind.
Snikk: All clear!
Snikk: Hold on. Yeah, she's there.
Snikk: Agent Scratch, engage sneaky mode.
Scratch: You be lookout.
Snikk: Get me an apple too.
Apple Vendor: Hey! Thief!
Scratch: Got 'em! Run!
Snikk: I'm using my magic feet...go!
Apple Vendor: Come back here with that, you little...
Apple Vendor: (sigh) Little stinkers.
Apple Vendor: Apples! Fresh and crisp!
Apple Vendor: Fresh Gendarran apples!
Tour Guide: This area is very popular with the children. And those easily excited.
Tour Guide: Behold: the Lion's Arch fountains!
Tour Guide: Incidentally, this is also where eighty percent of all tour-related injuries occur. Please watch your step.
Tour Guide: Shall we?
(says one of the following; doesn't appear in chat window)
Tour Guide: Any questions? No? All right, then.
Tour Guide: Is everyone having a great time? I know I am.
Tour Guide: Through this portal is the second ward of Lion's Arch. Take a moment to get acquainted with the area.
Tour Guide: I'll meet up with you just on the other side.
Tour Guide: Go on.
Tour Guide: (sigh) Is it almost break time?
At the Mystic Plaza
Citizen (1): I've watched visitors throw a wide assortment of items into those swirling mists.
Citizen (1): One asura in particular must have tossed in over two dozen exotic weapons.
Citizen (1): It made me realize that Zommoros has probably collected an impressive arsenal by now.
Citizen (2): (chuckle) Somewhere in there he's probably armed to the teeth with vials of blood and bottles of Elonian wine.
Mystic Forge Skritt: Make way for the mighty Zommoros!
Zommoros: Citizens of Lion's Arch, have you experienced the wonder of the Mystic Forge? The spectacle? Dare I ask...the CHALLENGE?
Mystic Forge Skritt: Zommoros, Zommoros! How does the Mystic Forge work?
Zommoros: I know what you're asking yourselves; Zommoros, how does it work? The Mystic Forge is an enigma. A mystery!
Mystic Forge Skritt: A mystery! A mystery!
Zommoros: Well, not anymore! I am happy to announce that a special tour will grant a chosen few access to the forge's secrets.
Mystic Forge Skritt: So many secrets! HOW MANY SECRETS?
Zommoros: Not all of them! But still, a lot! If you're one of the lucky few to get an invite, feel free to drop in.
Mystic Forge Skritt: Come, come! Into the Mystic Forge!
(Zommoros and the skritt vanish into the Mystic Forge while Miyani cheers.)
Southwest of the Frog Pond
Marcello DiGiacomo: Do you mind? I'm trying to brighten the day of the citizenry.
Hero-Tron: I—was—unaware—your—business—here—was—also—officially—sanctioned.
Hero-Tron: Perhaps—my—close personal—friend, Captain—Magnus, can—clear—this—matter—up.
Marcello DiGiacomo: I, ah- Let's not do anything rash, now.
Marcello DiGiacomo: Say, friend. We've been through a lot together, haven't we?
Hero-Tron: Affirmative. Though—mutual—experiences—have—been—unpleasant.
Marcello DiGiacomo: Yes well I was just wondering if you might know of any availabilities for entertainers such as myself?
Hero-Tron: Searching...Searching...Searching. Position—not—found
Marcello DiGiacomo: I see. Well who needs you anyway? I earn my own keep.
Marcello DiGiacomo: (moan)
Hero-Tron: I—can—help—you—get—work—today. Ask—me—how.
Hero-Tron: Many—openings—currently—available—for—the—qualified—applicant.
Hero-Tron: Heroic—golem—recruiting—talent-across—multiple—positions.
Hero-Tron: Lion's Arch—wins—when—you—join—our—cause.
Hero-Tron: Your—future—in—Lion's Arch—can—begin—today.
Marcello DiGiacomo: Who would want to be tied down to some dead-end job?
Marcello DiGiacomo: At least some of us haven't sold out yet.
Marcello DiGiacomo: Remember, folks, I rely on your generous donations to stay independent.
Marcello DiGiacomo: Any requests for a self-made entrepreneur?
Marcello DiGiacomo: My only license is my boundless creativity.
Marcello DiGiacomo: I consider myself a free voice for these people.

Notes[edit]

  • Prior to the rebuilding of Lion's Arch, an explorable sewer system, The Bilge, was located beneath the Trader's Forum.
  • The ambient dialogue with Zommoros and the skritt was released alongside the Mythwright Gambit raid. The dialogue triggers every other hour and ends with skritt throwing loot at the audience which can be claimed once a day.

Trivia[edit]

  • The sculpture over bank area is made to resemble an octopus, while the structure over the crafting station is a starfish.
  • In the crafting area, near the Jeweling Station, there are several boxes and cabinets with a flag in the middle placed in a way that closely resembles a Super Mario level.
