Agony Resistance.png Agony Resistance is the attribute that increases the resistance against Agony.

Acquisition[edit]

The primary way to acquire agony resistance is to add infusions to infusion slots in GAscended equipment.

Maximizing resistance[edit]

The maximum amount of agony resistance a player can have is limited by the number of available slots for adding resistance and, in the case of Agony Infusions, the cost of creating the upgrades. It should be noted, however, that AR above 150 does not give any additional beneficial effect. Because of this, 150 AR total, is the goal needed in order to reduce agony damage to 1% while in Fractal level 100.

  • The best combination to achieve 150 AR is the use of +7 Versatile Simple Infusions on all armor, weapons, and on the six slots available on your trinkets. Then in the five agony infusion slots use three (3) +10 AR infusions and two (2) +11 AR infusions.
  • Currently, a good combination to achieve 150 AR in the suggestion above, and still maintain the use of a utility infusion on an amulet (+20% Magic Find, for example) is to replace +7 Versatile Simple Infusions on seven infusion slots of your choice with +8 Agony Infusion.
  • If you've just started out with AR, however, since you cannot obtain infusions with fractal relics anymore, to get 150 AR, probably the cheapest way is to put a +8 Agony Infusion on any twelve infusion slots of your equipment and a +9 Agony Infusion on the remaining six infusion slots. That would cost about 45 gold in Thermocatalytic Reagents and you would need about 3000 +1 Agony Infusions.

Table[edit]

Each point of AR reduces the health loss by 1.2 percentage points, to a minimum of 1% health lost per second. The table shows every 10th scale, and increments of 5 AR (6 percentage points reduction) for brevity.
