Acquisition[edit]

Maximizing resistance[edit]

The maximum amount of agony resistance a player can have is limited by the number of available slots for adding resistance and, in the case of Agony Infusions, the cost of creating the upgrades.

  • AR 70 from ordinary infusion slots: a character can have a maximum of 14 ordinary infusion slots: six from trinkets, six from armor, and two from weapons. Each of these slots can hold a Versatile Simple Infusion or CFine Infusions that offers +5 AR. However, these ordinary infusion slots cannot hold Agony Infusions dropped from Fractals.
  • Additional AR from agony infusion slots: there are only three gear slots that can currently hold Agony Infusions: the two ring slots and the back item. Although you could create agony infusions of any level, the cost becomes prohibitively expensive. For example, a single +10 infusion requires spending over Gold coin for the Thermocatalytic Reagents alone; a +13 infusion costs over 60 Gold coin in reagents.

Table[edit]

Each point of AR reduces the health loss by 1.2%, to a minimum of 1% health lost per second. The table shows this in increments of 5 AR (6% reduction) for brevity.
