New Hero Jump Start is a two-week special event that grants the effect  New Hero Jump Start Boost and the choice of a main hand or two-handed Fexotic weapon that dynamically levels with the player's level.

Dreambound weapons

• Talking to Mist Stranger in one of the five starting areas during the special event after completing 5 dynamic events in there allows the choice of a weapon chest.
  • Guardian's Dreambound Chest

  • Engineer's Dreambound Chest
  • Ranger's Dreambound Chest
  • Thief's Dreambound Chest
  • Elementalist's Dreambound Chest
  • Mesmer's Dreambound Chest
  • Necromancer's Dreambound Chest
• Note that you can only claim one chest per account - so choose carefully as you are unable to change characters and get another box. Furthermore, the contents of each box is limited to the weapons the core profession can wield.

  • Completing the achievements grants karma consumables and the Hero's Trusty Satchel bag.

Available choices by professions

One-handed weapons only usable in off-hand (for example Revenant Axe), off-hand only weapons, and aquatic weapons are not available.
