Frode Wurmsbearer is the former norn shaman of Wurm and the current Warden of the Astral Ward. He has a daughter, Arina Copperwolf, with his late wife Ragna Copperwolf. Alongside Mabon, Frode petitioned twice to recruit the Pact Commander into the Astral Ward, though both attempts were unsuccessful.

Biography

Early years

Frode was a shaman of Wurm, but lost his faith after witnessing harrowing events involving his friend Sejm in the north and left the homestead and family to be on his own as he could no longer look them in the eye and believed that Arina would not miss him. Frode was then found by and recruited into the Astral Ward by Uenno and Isgarren and was hand-chosen to be the next Warden to lead the Astral Ward by the previous Warden, Levente.

What kind of special training?

The kind that will teach you to use weapons that would otherwise require elite specializations. Weaponmaster Training will let you use those weapons no matter what your specializations are.

How are things now that the fighting with Nayos is over? (after completing Sovereign of Nayos)

Honestly, it's hard work, this whole peacekeeping thing. Planning, negotiating, rebuilding...exercises a lot of muscles I haven't used in a long time. But it beats the alternative.

And how's Arina?

Great question, Wayfinder. Happy to say I have no idea! I haven't seen her—she's stuck to her promise to get that R & R. Hope you've tried to do the same...but somehow I doubt it.

As you say, peacekeeping is hard work.
