Corruption

• Acolyte of Torment — Torment deals increased damage.
• Demonic Defiance — Gain resistance and remove a damaging condition when you use a Legendary Demon skill.
• Abyssal Chill — When you chill a foe, you also inflict torment on them.
• Pact of Pain — Conditions you apply to foes last longer, but conditions applied to you also last longer.
• Yearning Empowerment — Damaging conditions you apply last longer.

Salvation

• Generous Abundance — Heal allies around yourself when using a Legend skill. Heal allies around Ventari's Tablet when using a Legendary Centaur skill. Dragon Facet skills and Ventari's Will cannot activate this trait.

Notes

• The skill casts three piercing beams between the caster and the selected target, which affects up to 5 foes that are hit by them.
• The chill and torment with each hit of a beam
• It can be used beyond the skill range, but will not hit the intended target. The beam still hits targets in-line and within the range threshold.

November 18, 2025	Fixed an issue that prevented Cosmic Wisdom from reducing the energy cost of this skill in PvP and WvW. Increased the recharge of using this skill with Cosmic Wisdom from 5 seconds to 10 seconds in WvW only.
June 24, 2025	This skill now inflicts torment when striking an enemy in addition to its previous effects.
June 27, 2023	This skill now has a 5-second cooldown in WvW only.
November 29, 2022	Reduced energy cost from 30 to 25 in PvP only.
June 28, 2022	Increased energy cost from 20 to 30 in WvW only.
March 04, 2020	Increased energy cost from 20 to 30 in PvP only.
February 25, 2020	Competitive content update: This skill no longer inflicts confusion. Instead, it inflicts chill for 1 second and removes 1 boon per hit. The number of hits has increased from 1 to 3. Increased PvE damage by 380%. Damage in other modes increased by 20%.
July 10, 2018	Increased the range of this skill from 600 to 900. Fixed a bug in which this skill was applying the incorrect amount of confusion in PvE.
May 08, 2018	The number of boons that are corrupted is no longer split between game modes and will now use the higher 3-boon corruption count in all modes.
March 27, 2018	Increased the number of boons removed from 2 to 3 in PvP and WvW.
February 06, 2018	This skill has been split between game modes. Confusion remains at 3 stacks for 6 seconds in PvE, but this skill will now inflict 5 stacks for 2 seconds in PvP and WvW.
