Counter Magic is a special action skill that players can use by standing in areas of strong magic caused by surging ley lines.

    • Savant Ehrin — removes Spreading Flames and grants Fire Shield
    • Nyle the Compassionate — grants 5 seconds of quickness after being struck by Sword of Vengeance, negates damage from skill, and gives an bundle
    • Ritualist Josa — removes Drain Beam and interrupts the remainder of the incoming beam
    • Thief Lloyd — become immobile and reflect projectile attacks
  • Jade Constructs — removes Spectral Agony and transfers its conditions to the caster
    • Champion Jade Armor

  • Elementals
    • Legendary Unbound Guardian — cleanses bleeding, burning, and poison and grants Enraged, increasing outgoing damage
• Confessor's Stronghold
  • Unstable Bloodstone Chunk — redirects attack skill onto chunk and bypasses invulnerability with CC and low damage to foes between player and Unstable Bloodstone Chunk
• Gendarran Fields, Iron Marches, Timberline Falls
  • Anomaly Fragments — grants 1 second of quickness and 3 seconds of swiftness when a fragment's energy is charging
• Queensdale, Kessex Hills, Brisban Wildlands, Gendarran Fields, Harathi Hinterlands
  • Legendary Bandit Executioner — grants 5 seconds of quickness after being struck by Sword of Vengeance, negates damage from skill, and gives a bundle
• Snowden Drifts, Kessex Hills, Diessa Plateau, Brisban Wildlands, Dry Top, The Silverwastes, Blazeridge Steppes, Fields of Ruin, Lornar's Pass, Gendarran Fields, Frostgorge Sound, Bloodtide Coast, Mount Maelstrom, Verdant Brink, and Tangled Depths
  • Bloodstone-crazed creatures — removes Blood Link and removes conditions that were applied by it

Bug:

Doesn't removed Conditions inflicted by Jade Armors found in Janthir Syntri.

• Players receiving this skill will hear a small beep indicating it is ready.
• Despite the special action appearing during the fight with the champion jade construct in Janthir Syntri, activating it has no effect.
